"How is this possible?" He questioned, pacing the room. His fingers were positioned on the bridge of his nose, attempting to ease his stress.

She sobbed once more, she had now retreated to sitting on the couch, what had once been a beautiful distraction to the battle going on in her mind, had now become the very reason she was crying.

"At the beach." That was all she had to say to make him understand, and he huffed in frustration.

"Well, what are you gonna do about it?" He asked, seating himself beside her now.

She shrugged, "I can't have it. I'm too young to have a child. It wouldn't be fair on anyone, even the baby."

The words sounded strange on her tongue, she had thought about it, but she had never said it out loud before.

He watched her sympathetically, "An abortion?"

She sighed, tears falling down her cheeks. Her body shook like a leaf, there was nothing she could do to stop it, nothing she could do to control how she was feeling at the present moment.

He clenched his jaw, "Are you going to tell Dylan? Or Conor? Or even Jordan for that matter?"

She shook her head, "I wasn't even going to tell you, it just- I don't know. You just make me tell you these things even when I don't want to."

He looked her up and down. He was staring at someone entirely new to him, almost as if he was looking at a stranger. He had never met this insecure, scared young girl. He wasn't used to Charlotte not knowing her worth, she always seemed so confident, although he realized himself to be a fool when he missed all of the signs of pregnancy, and all of the things that showed her change in feelings toward her self.

"So what if you're a little bit damaged? We all are," he shrugged gently, "I'll help you with this, as much as I can."

She nodded, her head feeling as heavy as her heart.

"I don't know what to do," She whimpered.

He wrapped his arm around her waist, resting her head against his shoulder.

"This will be okay. If you want an abortion then that's what will happen. I'll come with you, I'll be there to help you and I won't tell anyone. This is in your hands Charlie."

She took a deep breath, "I don't know what to do. I don't know how to handle these situations."

He pursed his lip, "Are you sure you want to go through with an abortion? Are you one hundred percent certain on this?"

She nodded hesitantly. She wasn't entirely sure about anything. Her mind was swirling and words were spinning around in her mind. She felt dizzy and a little bit nauseous.

He frowned, "That's not good enough. I don't want you to do this and then regret it."

"It doesn't matter what I do I'm going to regret it. But I can't have a child, it isn't fair."

He shrugged and pulled out his phone, "Well then, lets make an appointment for this thing."

She sighed nervously and nodded, "Okay, okay I can do this."

She felt a small bit of relief wash over when she found that he wasn't going to judge her. That was her biggest fear, that everyone would judge her because of her decision.

He gave her an encouraging smile and began find different centers online.

"According to my research, this is the best clinic you could go to, it has the best reviews and seems to have the safest methods."

She raised her eyebrows, "You did research?"

"Of course I did research, I don't want anything to go wrong with this. Honestly woman, what would you do without me?" He joked.

She smirked gently, "Crash and burn."

She called the number he had given her, her appointment was in three days time. She was getting what was known as a medication abortion, which involved her taking two pills, one in the clinic and one when she went home.

She simply had to go and take the pills. She was told they would inform her of the side effects and what would be happening to her body at the clinic, so all she could do at that current moment was wait.

"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked as she told her this information.

She shrugged, "I think, honestly, that I need to tell Dylan about this. Sure, he's a jerk, but he deserves to know about what's going to happen."

Thomas frowned but agreed, for he knew if he was in Dylan's position he would want to know about the child, whether it was going to be born or not.

"...and I think if he wants to come with me then he should."

Thomas shook his head, "No, I don't want you alone with the guy, especially now that you're pregnant."

"Come on Thomas, you know him. He's been your best friend for god knows how long, I know that he's been doing stupid things lately, but you're not the type of guy who would be friends with a jerk. I know Dylan has a good side, and I know you know it too, so I'm going to meet up with him, I'm going to tell him about this baby and I'm going to give him the choice to come with me or not, because he deserves a chance."

He stayed silent, clenching his jaw.

"If you're going to tell him then tell him somewhere public, somewhere he can't hurt you."

She nodded gently, although she knew he wasn't going to hurt her. She didn't know why she knew this, or why she was having these feelings about Dylan, but he deserved to know about her being pregnant.

That was something that she firmly believed everyone had a right to know about.

"So, when are you going to tell him?" He asked, placing a comforting hand on her thigh.

She sighed loudly, "As soon as possible I guess."
