Charlotte tugged the blankets closer to her, salty tears running down her cheeks. She had just taken her last pill, her baby was Gone.

She sobbed loudly, her whole body shaking. She knew she wasn't ready to have a child, but knowing that she had just ended a life before it even had the chance to begin broke her heart.

She stood up, inspecting her stomach in the mirror, her heart feeling heavy.

She walked out of her bedroom and into the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of water. She had to calm herself down before she woke Thomas up.

Her shakey hands were unable to keep a good enough grip on the glass and it fell to the ground, smashing loudly.

She winced and bent down to pick it up.

She screamed loudly as Thomas grabbed her by throat and held her up against the fridge, banging her head off of the door.

"Thomas," She gasped, clutching at his hand.

He let go of her quickly, "Jesus Christ Charlie, I thought you were someone breaking in. I didn't hurt you did I?" He asked.

He couldn't see her face as they hadn't turned a light on and it was the middle of the night, so he couldn't see that she was crying.

"I'm fine," she mumbled, bending down to pick up the shards of glass on the floor.

Thomas turned on the light, looking at the mess she had made, "I can clean this up, what were you doing down here anyway?"

She looked away, trying to hide her tear stained face, "I was just thirsty and I dropped the glass by accident."

He nodded gently, throwing the glass in the bin. He poured her another glass and handed it to her.

She thanked him and he gave a short gasp, taking in her appearance.

"You look like you need a hug," he said gently.

She nodded her head, tears streaming down her face, as he pulled her into his chest, wrapping his arms tightly around her.

She buried her head into the crook of his neck, her heart throbbing.

He rubbed her back gently, one of his arms keeping her held against him.

"You seriously think that would work?" Charlotte asked, looking at Jordan as if he was crazy.

"I don't see why it wouldn't," he said with a shrug, biting his licorice.

They glanced at Mr. Kane as he walked into the classroom and she nodded, giving him an evil look.

Jordan pulled the straw from his pocket and tearee his plastic bag into a little ball, placing it into the straw.

"It's never going to reach him," she whispered as he began to shush the class.

Jordan smirked, "I am offended that you should question my ability."

She rolled her eyes and glanced at Mr Kane once more, who seemed to be unaware of what was about to happen to him.

Jordan placed the straw in his mouth and blew into it with all his might. Charlotte watched as the small ball of paper flew out of the bottom and landed feebly on the ground in front of them.

She couldn't contain a smile as he frowns, "That should've worked."

She shrugged, her shoulders shaking and her eyes tearing up from trying to stop herself from laughing.

"Ability my ass, more like disability," she mumbled quietly, making him glare at her.

"Guys shut up," Lucy mumbled, joining the conversation.

They both glared at the girl and rolled their eyes, she had always been the one to ruin the fun.

They listened to her though, and stayed quiet for the rest of their class and paid attention to Mr Kane for the following hour.

Once it was over they were more than happy to get out of that building and Charlotte huffed and checked her watch, "I've gotta go guys, I have work."

Jordan furrowed his eyebrows, "You've really been working overtime lately, haven't you?" He asked.

She shrugged, "I'm just trying to get the money for a new car, I'm not settling for anything that costs less than $70,000."

'And if I spend more than 20 minutes alone with my thoughts I'll have a mental breakdown and want to kill my self,' She thought to herself.

Lucy whistled lowly, "Good luck with that girl. I've got a serious amount of people to call back and go on a date with so, that's what I'll be spending my time doing. Enjoy!" She yelled, waving as she rushed away.

Jordan raised his eyebrows "College has certainly changed some people."

Charlotte smiled, "Just let her live. She'll be fine."

He frowned, "I miss the old Lu. It's not the same."

Charlotte rubbed his hair gently, "Shes still the same person, and I'd love to stay and chat but I've really got to get home so I can get changed for work."

He shrugged and watched her begin her jog back to her apartment, something that she had made a habit of.

She liked to do it as it would clear her mind and kept her body in shape.

Arriving into her apartment was the same as always, it was empty. Thomas would be at work, at someone else's apartment, with the guys or basically anywhere else he could be.

She wasn't sure if he was avoiding her, because whenever he saw her he was as friendly as usual, but she certainly saw less of him than she used to.

She quickly rushed into the bathroom and had a quick shower, not washing her hair. She jumped into her work uniform and sighed, beginning her walk to work and making sure to lock the door after her.

"I'm here Todd," She mumbled, poking her head into the office.

Her manager glanced at her and nodded, looking back down at his paperwork.

She sat myself down at her cash register, right beside Alfie's one.

"So, how are things doing today then?" He asked, his dark skin looking incredible with the uniform.

"Same as always, barely scraping by."

He laughed gently, "Well man, let me tell you this. There's supposed to be a hot party later tonight down on the east side. It might get a little bit rough but hey, it's Friday so we have nowhere to go tomorrow morning."

Charlotte bit her lip, she hadn't been in the partying mood for a while now, "I have to come here tomorrow morning, actually," she stated.

He sighed, "You're always working. I'm sure you can take one day off. You promised me you would come to a party with me one day. This is the day that I am choosing," he insisted.

She rolled her eyes, "Fine, I'll go to your dumb party."

He smirked, "Thats what I like to hear."
