"That asshole is lucky he left in the middle of the night, I can guarantee you he wouldn't have been alive by the end of the day," Jordan grumbled.
"I'm really sorry for bringing him here, I didn't think he was such a creep," Jamie apologized.
Thomas frowned, "I should've just fucking drowned him when I had the chance."
"The dude got beat badly last night, damn it felt good to kick the shit out of him," Conor mumbled.
"That asshole is just lucky I was dealing with Lucy or else I would've broken every bone in his body," Preston spat.
"Dude if I wasnt passed out I would've broken a bottle off that fuckers head," Darren spat.
Charlotte stared at all of the boys in surprise, her eyes wide, "I hadn't realized you all felt so strongly about this."
Conor scoffed and rolled his eyes, "Don't be stupid. You know none of us are letting that shit happen to you."
She blushed and Thomas's hand automatically wrapped around her shoulder, pulling her into his side.
He propped his ankle up on his knee as he traced circles on her shoulder, "I made that asshole pay. Nobody touches whats mine, I made that very fucking clear to him."
She glanced around at the others and saw that they mustn't have heard what he said considering they were engaging in their own conversations. She knew they were all talking about her because of the angry looks on each of their faces.
She smiled up at him, she liked being his. She knew he wasn't objectifying her, that's not how he was. He meant it in the best way possible and she knew that.
"Thanks for taking care of me last night, I know I must've been difficult," She said quietly.
He furrowed his eyebrows, "Are you kidding? Of course I was going to take care of you."
She blushed and looked at her hands. He was too good for her and she knew it.
He was constantly reassuring her and doing everything he possibly could for her when in return she did absolutely nothing.
"Are you packed yet?" Preston asked, his eyes trained on Charlotte although his arm was wrapped around Lucy's waist.
"Yep. Bags are already in the car."
"I bet you're happy you ain't gotta sit on my lap again," He said with a smirk.
She smiled, "You know it."
"And by the way, I'm riding shotgun in Thomas's car," He declared.
Charlotte glanced at Thomas who was shaking his head, "Nope. You're sitting in the back with Conor and Lucy."
Conor frowned, "Why am I going with all of you? I'll be fifth wheeling!"
They all looked at him with smug smiles, neither of them responding.
Jordan rolled his eyes, "Just come in my car."
Conor smirked, "You know, after all these years you've finally come in handy for something."
Jordan merely scoffed in response and turned back to Darren.
"I think we should consider leaving soon, I want some extra time alone with you before I have to go to work," Thomas whispered in her ear.
She glanced up at him, "I didn't know you were working today."
He took in the frown on her face, "Yeah, are you going to be okay in the apartment by yourself?"
