Charlotte was frantic after that, demanding that Jordan took her to the hospital.

"Yeah, of course I'll take you," he mumbled.

"Hey Lucy, can you get some to go boxes and meet us there?" He asked.

Charlotte gave him an irritated look and he shrugged sheepishly as they both rushed towards his car.

He drove quickly to his car, the whole time her shouting at him to drive faster.

"Well, did she sound sad?" He asked, glancing at her as they were stuck in traffic.

She shook her head, "I- I don't know. I didn't pay attention."

He nodded gently as a tense silence took over the car. "Well she said it was about his recovery? That means something new is after coming about to help him."

Charlotte tried to smile and agree, although she couldn't bring herself to do it.

They both walked into the hospital briskly.

"Sorry, only family members are allowed to see him at the moment," a doctor stated, stopping Jordan.

He clenched his jaw, "Ill just wait out here then," he told Charlotte.

She swallowed nervously as she walked into his hospital room.

She let out a loud gasp as she saw Conor,
Sitting up on his bed and looking around in confusion.

"Oh my god, thank God you're awake," she sighed,  she flung her arms around his shoulders and held him close to her, crying into his shoulders.

"What am I doing here?" He asked, gently pushing her back.

She frowned, "You got in a car crash, you've been in a come for a month."

He shook his head, "No, the last thing I was doing was saying bye to Preston because I was coming to apologize to you."

A lump formed in her throat, "You were coming to see me?"

He nodded gently, but he quickly stood up, wrapping his arm around her shoulder, "We can forget about that though, I want to go home."

"Someone should be here with some of your clothes soon, probably Preston."

He nodded gently whilst she stared at him. "I can't believe you're awake," she mumbled, keeping a tight grip on him.

Preston walked in with a pile of clothes in his hand, although as soon as he got into the room he dropped them and pulled Conor into a tight hug.

They hugged for a few moments until eventually they released each other so that Conor could get dressed.

"I told you it would turn out okay," Preston told Charlotte, sitting down next to her.

She smiled happily, "I feel like the heaviest weight has just been lifted off my chest," She admitted.

"Mine too, it is exhausting looking after you," He joked.

She narrowed her eyes at him, "I don't need someone to look after me."

He held his hands up in mock surrender, "Sorry, I know. You just need someone to help you out sometimes. I think that because Conor has been such a good older brother to you, you don't know how to survive without his support. You're just used to being able to lean on him."

She nodded in agreement, "I guess you're right."

Conor came out of the room, now fully dressed, "Lets go!"

As Charlotte and Conor drove home together Jordan and Preston drove in Preston's car. They all went for food first as they hadn't gotten to finish their food and Lucy never showed up, and then they returned to Chloe and Thomas's apartment.

Thomas and Lucas were very excited to see Conor alive and well, and they were very quick to help him catch up on everything that he had missed.

Conor glanced at Charlotte every few minutes, who refused to leave his side.

"Can I talk to you somewhere?" She asked, tugging at his shirt.

He nodded as she led him into her bedroom, her heart beating rapidly as she did so. She wasn't sure how he would react to what she was about to tell him, but she knew that it more than likely wouldn't be good.

"So, I haven't actually seen your room yet," Conor mumbled, plopping onto her bed.

She smirked gently, "Dont touch anything."

He played with the teddy on his chest, which he had bought her when she was only two years old.

"About the argument we had-" she began.

"Don't worry about it. It's not worth it. If you're happy with Dylan then stay with him, I can't stop you so I'll just have to get over it I guess."

She smiled sheepishly at him, "Actually, you were right."

He furrowed his eyebrows, "What happened?"

She sat down in front of him, her eyes already beginning to brim with tears, "Basically he cheated on me."

He shook his head, "Not good enough, I have to hear exactly everything that he did so that I know how badly I have to beat him up."

"Well when I found out you were in a coma I was trying to get through to him because he was my boyfriend and I needed his support but Preston called and some chick answered, twice. And when we were at the beach I think he slept with hailey. Also the other day when I was walking home from work he called me a slut and stuff and said that you'd be lucky if you never woke up because you wouldn't have to put up with my shit."

He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze, "He's dead."

"Please don't start any drama, I'm just happy that you're okay," she stated.

He gave her a reassuring smile, "We've established that I'm okay. He's going to die."

He stood up angrily and walked out of the room, making it bang loudly in the process.

She sat in silence for a few moments, listening to the conversation that he was having with Thomas, although she could only hear some faint murmurs.

She rolled her eyes, she wasn't okay with him getting into a fight. He wasn't in full health yet, he had to rest and recover first.
