"What do you think about these?" Liam asks, holding a pair of blue jeans up in the air. I lift an eyebrow at him. Isn't this shopping shit supposed to be something that girls do? And here I am spending my Thursday afternoon at a mall with Liam. I would have asked Max to join us but he is too busy hanging out with Georgi.

"Don't know," I reply and sit down in front of the dressing room on a brown leather bench and put my hands across my stomach.

Liam looks back to the jeans, analyzing them. Then he shakes his head and picks up another pair, tossing the light blue ones aside.

"What about these?" He looks at me uncertain, hoping for a good reaction.

"God Liam," I sigh and lean back against the wall. "Just pick something for fuck's sake."

"How do you buy clothes if you don't look at them?" Liam asks irritated. "What, you just walk into the store and pick the first thing in your sight?" I lift my right hand up to my chin to think about it.

"Pretty much," I answer at last. Liam groans angrily and I let out a small laugh.

"You do know that you are a jerk, don't you?"

"Depends on who you are asking."

"Dickhead." Liam gives me a sharp look and continues to compare the two pieces of fabric. His brown eyes jumps from side to side.

"Just buy the cheaper pair," I say and nod towards the blue jeans. Liam watches me for a second to make sure that I don't try to trick him in any way. Shouldn't friends trust each other? Apparently not. Liam finally decides to go with my advice and pays for them.

"You know, if I grow to hate these jeans it's on you," he states as we step out of the store.

"Sure thing."

I look around the shopping mall and my eyes catch someone I regonzine.

"Isn't that the chick Dylan's dating?" I ask and nod towards the girl. Liam scans the crowd until he also catches sight of her.

"I think so," Liam utters. "Wait is she..."

"Kissing another guy. Seems like it," I calmly express.

"No way. We have to tell Dylan!" Liam sounds panicked. Why is he making such a big deal out of this? It's not his girlfriend or anything.

"Fuck no," I say and Liam looks at me as if I were crazy, which by the way I maybe am.

"Yes, we do."

"Do you wanna be in the middle of a college drama? We have our reputations to think of," I state.

Liam and I have stopped in the middle of the hallway, both staring at the girl, who I don't even know the name of, sucking on a guy that isn't our friend Dylan. How's that even possible? She seemed completely in love the other day.

"How is telling Dylan about this gonna get us in some college drama?" Liam wonders, annoyed, again.

"Whatever."

"It's not whatever!" Liam yells drawing attention to us. Luckily Dylan's soon to be ex girlfriend isn't in the hearing range. "He needs to know," Liam says, lowering his voice. I just nod to not make a bigger scene than we already have.

We, or actually mostly Liam, decided it would be good if we told Dylan as fast as possible. I just hope this whole thing won't blow up in our faces. Girls can be so dramatic sometimes and Dylan's girlfriend's whole college will probably know about this soon.

Liam suggested that we would tell him after school because we don't know how bad he is going to take the news or if he even believes us at all. So here we are waiting near his locker for him to arrive after his last class of the day.

"Dylan!" I shout in the nearly empty school hall when I see him. Dylan glances over his shoulder at Liam and me. He smiles and starts walking towards us.

"What's up guys," Dylan speaks and gives each of us a high five. He is wearing red shorts and a black T-shirt which says Brooklyn.

My eyes wander to Liam who stands next to me and seems overly nervous. I nod at him so he could begin talking and get this over with. Dylan watches our movements carefully, seeming a bit confused.

"Yeah so... is everything good between you and your girlfriend?" Liam's gaze is locked on his shoes and he places his hands in his pockets. Dylan narrows his eyes and studies us.

"Yes of course," he states. "Um, why wouldn't it be?" He questions, now sounding anxious.

"We saw her cheat," I blurt out. Dylan's eyes open wide and his mouth falls to the floor. Liam face palms and mumbles something I can't here. "Yep, sorry buddy." I add to ease some of the tension I just caused.

Dylan looks like he's about to say something but decides against it. He bites his lower lip and his eyes starts to fill with water. Liam gives him a quick hug and I do the same thing.

"You okay?" I ask, not knowing what else to say when your friend gets cheated on. It's not like shit like this happens everyday. Especially not amongst my group of friends. We are pretty picky with who we date. I myself haven't even had a single girlfriend in my whole life.

"Where, when?!" Dylan tries to yell after pulling himself together but it comes out more like a sob. Luckily everyone else has already left the corridor after the school day ended.

"Yesterday at the mall," Liam answers carefully, looking concerned.

"With who?" Liam and I look at each other not knowing what to answer. "I asked, with who!?"

"We didn't recognize him," I respond truthfully, now a little worried over Dylan's condition. I've never been through a heartbreak. Fuck, I have never even loved someone.

"I swear to God if it was that Nolan dude... I will so kill him!" Dylan shouts and slams a fist to the nearest locker. The blue metallic locker lets out a loud noise as it crumples.

"Calm down!" Liam calls out and hurries to put his hands on Dylan's both shoulders. Dylan takes a few deep breaths before shaking himself off of Liam's grip and bursting away.
