On exiting Jungkook's car, the excitement hits you in the face as the early morning breeze. Rotating your head to the back, a smiling Jungkook smiles at you and you smile back.

"I'll pick you up. Take care." Jungkook says. Extending his hand forward, he gently takes your hand in his and leaves a kiss on the back of your palm.

"Okay. But, take care of yourself as well and don't skip your lunch. Hmm?" You reply.

Jungkook softly giggles at you. "Yes, ma'am. I love you."

"I love you too. Bye." Gently slipping your hand from his, you give one last smile before walking into the building.

Familiar faces greet you in the morning with a bow and you gladly return back the greeting. It was the same every day but the emotions erupting in you made it feel all too different.

Being back in good terms with your best friend not only gave you a peaceful sleep but also a constant happy mood. His smile flashed in your mind and you couldn't help but chuckle at yourself.

On entering your cabin, you placed your work stuff over the table and looked at the new files that you were supposed to work on today. However, moving your eyes around the files, your hands flip the page and a bright yellow sticky note catches your attention.

A smile draws itself on your lips and without wasting a single second, you rush to get up from the rolling chair. Speed walking through the corridors with the note in your palm and a gentle, shy smile on your face, you knock and enter his office.

Taehyung sits on the chair with a smug look on his face as if he read your mind and knew you were coming to his office. The very look of his face screamed the thoughts he was having but you were oblivious to any of those.

"You sneaky little snake." You giggle.

"Ooo...you kiss your boyfriend with that mouth?" Taehyung playfully comments. Your jaws dropped at what he said as you moved your eyes to the marble flooring.

But, seeing your sudden shy demour at his comment, his eyes were quick to catch the change in your body language. Taehyung stands up from his chair and that is when you notice how his forearm is flexing as his sleeves are rolled up.

"Wait..." he walks closer as he eyes you carefully without looking away. The look of his eyes suddenly makes you feel like a prey under his gaze but you stare back wondering what he is about to speak.

"You..you haven't kissed each other yet?" Taehyung completes his sentence, somehow trying his luck and hoping it to be true.

On hearing what the latter has said, your eyes enlarge slightly in shock and a pink blush arrives on your cheeks. This isn't what you were here for in the first place.

Taehyung smiles as he walks back to his seat. Only knowing that you have not kissed Jungkook yet makes him the happiest in the most saddest man ironically.

Noticing the small tug on Taehyung's lip as he fumbles with the paper work on his table as an excuse to hide his mocking smile is enough to burn a small flame inside you. That's all it takes for you to take several steps forward until you stand in front of his table.

"Professionals or Besties?" You ask. Taehyung maintains his composure as he observes your body standing in front of him with the table in between.

Raising his eyes, he waits for a second while eyeing you and smiles. "Besties."

While releasing a huge puff of air from your mouth, you somehow throw yourself on the chairs in front of his table and keep your head on top of it. A small chortle leaves his mouth as he eyes your body in front of his.
