Rain.Rain poured heavily on the concrete pavements under your converse covered feets. It wasn't one of those light drizzles that soothes your mind and relaxes your body but rather a shower that soaks you to the core.
After taking a leave from work for no apparent reason, you left your house in a flash as if someone called you from a distance. Asking for you to come for it.
Pulling the black hood over your head, you kept your head low and looked at the droplets falling before your feet. Without losing contact with the rain pouring, you kept hearing the wet noises your shoes made after hitting the floor beneath you.
Wind was rushing by you, trees were shaking like loose limbs and open roads were without a car in sight. That's when a paper boat floated in the puddle of water beside the pavement.
Taking a halt in your steps you looked at the small kid in a yellow raincoat and green boots over his body, trying to cover himself from the rain. After picking up the paper boat in his tiny like hands, he looked over at your feet, then knees till he fully raised his head to look at your face.
With a gentle smile on his lips and softness in his eyes, he waved at you. On returning back the gesture, he turned around and ran away till he was out of your sight.
Shrugging off about the boy, you continued your journey to the place you felt like visiting.
Now that you think about it, it's been a long time since you last came here. Perhaps seven months ago. Or maybe more.
You don't remember at all.
Nothing. Just a blur image of the old women crosses your mind when you stand in the puddle of mud and dirt.
Her smile, her voice and her face, all just a blur. The taste of her homemade chocolate cookies with a glass of milk lingers on your tongue as you think about it.
You miss her. A lot.
But, not to the point that you would sob. Maybe because you were just a toddler and had just learned how to walk when your grandma passed away.
However, Jimin was different. He being two years older than you was attached to her with a more stronger and powerful bond, that you never had.
But, if given a chance and a bit more time, you would have done everything to be close to her and have a bond, a more special one.
Thinking about why you hadn't visited this place for a long time, you can not ignore Jungkook being the main cause of it.
However, with the amount of work in your schedule now, you had partially forgotten about spying on him. It had stopped since Mr. Kim moved in the neighbourhood.
Regardless about the fact that how less time you invested to him now, it didn't change your feelings. You were still the same Park Hana who would blush around the man, stutter during a talk and look anywhere but his eyes. Just like a few months ago.
Soon enough, the rain slowed down but it wasn't any close to stopping. Looking down at the dull grey tombstone in front of you, your eyes roamed over the engraved words that have somehow permanently stuck in your mind.
Pulling the small bunch of tulips out of your hoods pocket, you bend down and sat on your knees. Gently keeping the bouquet on the tombstone, you kept staring at her name.
"I'm sorry." you whispered with an inaudible voice.
"I'm sorry for not visiting you. I'm sorry for just thinking about myself. I'm sorry for forgetting the small memories I had of us together as the time passed." you sniffed as a lone tear rolled down your cheek mixing along the rain that fell on your face from above.
"I'm sorry for everything. I miss you." you meant it.
Standing up from the ground full of dirt, you started walking without dusting off the mud, without looking back.
After a long walk, you found yourself sitting on the benches at the bus stop. Keeping your eyes on the ground, you found yourself shivering under the hoodie and trousers.
With the wind blowing by, blew along your hair. If you could calculate how long you've been out in the rain, it'll be more than four hours.
There were missed calls from your mom, dad and jimin. You answered the latter and told you were on your way back home, safely.
The clothes were stuck to your body as the tip of your fingers were turning blue with ridges forming. With a dry throat and empty stomach, you sat there patiently waiting for the bus as you closed your eyelids due to tiredness.
"A leave to walk around in the rain?"
On opening your eyes again and lifting up your head to look at the source of the sound, you felt somehow relieved. Like a rescue at your need.
Taehyung smiled while offering his hand forward. Standing in his suit like everyday, he looked like an angel that you would like to appreciate.
"How about a ride Miss Park?"

These chapters might seem dull and feel like the story is going slow but its honestly because I don't want to rush anything and just want to take my time to write it down.
