I was led in bed, trying to sleep but Lily kept moving around and taking the covers, I shook her awake as I noticed tears were streaming down her face.
"Lily what's wrong?" I spoke softly
"Night *hiccup * mare " she sobbed
"It's okay darling " I cooed and wrapped my arms around her.
She slowly nodded her head
I pulled her close to me kissing her forehead
"Go to sleep baby " I smiled
She fell asleep against my chest falling into a deep peaceful sleep.
