You Left

‘Hey’, that was the word you said when we first met each other.

‘How are you?’
'Am I bothering you?’ the starter pack of our conversation.

Talked about feelings,
talked about stories,
talked about everything—
and that included our shits.

Saw each other everyday,
every week,
every month,
that passed through years.

Till our conversations upgraded.
From ‘Hey’ to ‘Good morning love’.
That ‘How are you’ and ‘Am I bothering you’
into ‘ I miss you, I love you so much’.

We argued, and broke-up.
The end they said, but no.

You showed up again, for after so long.
And you said ‘Hey’,
but I ignored you.
Thought of the past,
that you left, and came back once again,
sadly without your memories.
Cause you had Alzheimer's.
