"Are you alright?" You look up and it's Stiles.
Great. You think. The last thing you needed was him to see you cry.
"Is everything okay Annemarie?"
You try to tell him to go away, but he seemed so concerned, you didn't wanted to do that. Instead you let him sit next to you. He tries to comfort you the best way he can.
After asking twice and not getting a reply he decides to stop asking. In time you would tell him what was wrong. Right now you just wanted to be there, drown yourself in your tears. But Stiles was making it all better.
It's getting late and you notice your clock. You two had been like that, hugging for what it seemed now forever.
"Stiles... I have to go."
"Oh okay. Do you need some company?"
"Sure." You accept. Having him around actually felt nice.
"So are you going to tell me what happened?"
You tell him and he listens to every single word you say. After you tell him all of it, he hugs you. He takes you home and he doesn't leaves until he makes sure you are okay.
"Stiles. I'm fine now. See you at school tomorrow." You say and he leaves a soft kiss on your cheek.
A few days go by and you and Stiles start to become great friends. He now knows all about you and he's always there to support you and you can't help but to grow feelings towards him.
This one time, you were in class and it hadn't started yet. Sties sits next to you. He looks nervous.
"Hey, Annemarie?"
"Yes?" You turn to look at him.
"Would you like to go out with me?"
Somehow, it's like you were expecting him to ask you since that night.
"Yes of course." You reply but the class begins and there's nothing else you can say so you decide to text him, a simple text with nothing more but a smile. He turns around to look at you and you were smiling. You had started to fall in love with him and it was great to know, he was as well.
