"Malia, study" Stiles says when he notices she's into something else.
She sighs and she goes back at looking to her notebook.
"What's that?" Stiles asks when he notices the different colours and the way she's using the markers.
Malia begins to explain. Stiles smiles and then he leans in to kiss her. As they start making out, someone enters the room.
It's Lydia. And she doesn't looks okay. She's crying and mumbling something about Allison and the dead pool.
Stiles suddenly gets this overwhelming feeling, that what he was doing is not right. He gets up and he lets go of Malia. She for once doesn't understands what Lydia is doing there, and why would she choose to go there in the first place.
"Malia, please give us a moment." Stiles says.
"No, no." Lydia manages to day between sobbing. "I'll go, I should have never come here."
Stiles ignores what she says and he looks to Malia who seems quite confused. "Outside?" He turns to Lydia. She nods.
"What happened?" He asks, placing his right hand on her shoulder.
"It's just Allison and the dead pool, I can't do this anymore. But it's clear you no longer care and you are busy. I'm going now."
"Lydia please." He grabs her arm. "Stay." It was clear in his eyes, he wanted her to stay. He was desperate for some time alone with her.
"But..." she points at his bedroom. "Malia."
"I'll tell her we can continue studying tomorrow. You need me."
"Yeah, great studying you two were having." Lydia rolls her eyes.
She clears away the tears. Going back to the usual Lydia everyone is used to. Stiles goes into his bedroom, letting Malia know the study session is over.
"What happened?" Malia asks. She may not be used to the whole human thing, but she knows something is up.
"Don't worry." He replies.
Malia waves at Lydia on her way out. Lydia can't help but to feel awkward, and bad, she feels bad for this. But Stiles is the only one she knows that 100% understands her. She needed him now.
"So..." Stiles begins. "Are you okay?"
"Obviously not. Or I wouldn't be here. It's just, the whole Allison being the keyword, everything about the dead pool. I'm tired." Lydia replies.
They end up staying forever talking. It's like they have put Allison's death behind and never touch that subject again, and now it was back to haunt them and demand to be discussed. And in the end of the conversation, both had to admit, they felt better. They cried, they laughed remembering Allison.
"I miss her a lot you know." Stiles says with a shy smile. "She was on team Stiles" he laughs.
Lydia is looking shocked to him. She wasn't expecting him to say that and ever since he was with Malia, she always thought things were different and they would never be the same.
"Sorry." He says noticing the look on her face.
"It's okay. I just..." she takes a deep breathe. "I thought things were different."
He gets closer to her. And he grabs her hand.
"Lydia... never. Things would never change. If I'm happy with Malia? Yes you can say that. I like her, we share a good time. But my heart... Lydia my heart will always belong to you."
"I don't know what to say."
"Simple, don't say anything. " Stiles replies, getting even closer to her.
He places his hands on her face and kisses her. He remembers last time she kissed him. He never felt something better in his entire life. All those years he waited for it and it wasn't on the best situation but it was perfect.
The kiss breaks but Lydia holds on to it a bit longer just like she did the last time. She loves him and she was ready to admit it.
