From all the excitement and parties, Mikayla had forgotten completely about the end of year exams, Harry and Ron did really well while Hermione was the top of the year. Mikayla got one less mark in potions making her the second top student of the year.
In a blink of an eye, they were making their way down to Hogsmeade station with their trunks and animals. Notes were handed to every student as they reached the station, to remind them they're not allowed to use magic, Mikayla joked she couldn't sing for the Weasley family because Dumbledore said her music was magical, causing everyone to laugh. "You're not getting away with it that easily." Fred proclaimed, Mikayla has been trying everything to get out of singing for the Weasleys. They all clamoured onto the train, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Mikayla shared a compartment. "Harry, do you think your aunt and uncle will allow you to come to my house during the summer?" Mikayla asked as the countryside flew past the window, "I hope so." Harry responded, "Great. What about you two, do you think you'd be allowed come to my house?" She turned to Ron and Hermione, "of course, my parents love you." Hermione responded instantly, "I don't see why not." Ron shrugged, Mikayla smiled widely, "How's the 10th the July?" Mikayla asks, "that sounds like a plan." Harry smiled, "I'll need something to look forward to."
Mikayla got changed into jeans, a shirt and the jumper Mrs. Weasley knitted her for Christmas just before they arrived at Platform nine and three quarters. They waited on platform nine and three quarters to be let off by the barrier guard. They were only letting small groups of three people out at a time to prevent causing a scene. "You can come with us Mikayla." George smiled, Mikayla was fine with the arrangements since they were just before Harry, Ron and Hermione. Mikayla stood in between the twins as they walked through the wall. The three of them walked towards Mrs. Weasley. "Hello boys, who's this?" She looked merrily at Mikayla taking in her appearance and then her jumper, "so this is Mikayla." Mrs. Weasley smiled, "nice to meet you dear." Mikayla's cheeks flushed, "Nice to meet you too Mrs. Weasley, thank you for the jumper and toffees by the way." "No problem dear."
Harry, Ron and Hermione walked out and over to the Weasleys and Mikayla, Ron's sister Ginny pointed out Harry and got really excited by the sight of him. They talked for a minute or two before a loud grumpy voice came out behind them, "Ready, are you?" It was Mr. Dursley, his wife and son behind him cowering. Poor Mrs Weasley tried to talk to him but he was extremely rude and walked away. Ron, Hermione and Mikayla said goodbye to Harry and the plan was that he and Hermione went to Ron's house and floo powdered to Mikayla's since she lives in Ireland. Avery joined her sister and her friends. "Mrs Weasley, this is my twin sister Avery." Mikayla introduced them, Avery was extremely polite before waving their parents to them. "By the way my friends are sleeping over on the 7th." She whispered, before running over to her father. "Mrs. Weasley, I was just wondering if it's okay with you if I stay over in your house on the 7th of this month?" Mikayla asked politely, "of course dear, I'm assuming you'll travel by floo powder." She asked knowing that Mikayla lived in Ireland, "if you don't mind." Mrs. Weasley hugged Mikayla.
Hermione and Mikayla's parents were talking to each other, "Mum, can we go over and say hello to the Grangers and O'Briens?" Ron asked, Mrs Weasley didn't fight at all, in fact, she strode straight up to them. They're families got on like a house on fire, they talked for about 15 minutes about their kids and silly stuff they did when they were small before deciding it would be best to go home. Mikayla hugged Hermione, Ron, George and Fred goodbye, "I'll see you soon." She smiled before turning to her parents as they made their way to the leaky cauldron to floo home.
Once Mikayla and Avery had unpacked their trunks, and handed up their grades to their parents. "So, how come neither of you told us how you weren't talking to each other or the fact you got into a physical fight." Mrs. O'Brien asked as she sat down in her armchair, Avery and Mikayla swapped worried glances, "Look, sisters fight all the time but in the end we always have each other's back. Plus, it wasn't a fight, I whooped Avery's ass." Mikayla reasoned before making her mother laugh at her last comment, "Plus I think it's good for us being separated." Avery argues, "do you think Mikayla would've made so many friends or had such a good time if we were together?" Mrs. O'Brien shakes her head, "So, what kind of adventures did you get up to?" Mrs O'Brien smiled. Mikayla and Avery told her about everything that went on in the year even the fact on Christmas they had people over. Mrs. O'Brien just sat back and listened to her daughters adventures, relaxed to see they got along just fine in their first year. They talked about how Mikayla and her friends stopped Voldemort from getting the stone as a unit and Mikayla told her what Madam Pomfrey said about her doing the revival charm. "Seems like you got into a lot of trouble this year young lady." Mrs O'Brien sounded mad but proud, "And still got top grades." Mikayla smiles cheekily making her mother laugh, Peppy welcomed the girls home with their favourite dinner, Shepard's Pie, as they ate Mr. O'Brien questioned them about their friends and it was very clear that there was even a contrast of friendships between the sisters. Their faces light up as they told their father about food and the sports of Hogwarts, the only thing that they shared in common .
