Saving Buckbeak

"What the bloody hell was that all about?" Ron asked after Dumbledore had left, "Sorry, Ron, but seeing as you can't walk..." Hermione wraps her time-turner around Mikayla and Harry, twisting the hourglass three times before it spins on it's own.

"7:30, where were we at 7:30?" Hermione asks ignoring all Harry's questions, "Going to Hagrid's." Mikayla informs her, she remembered they left dinner a little late since the new curfew. "Come on. And we can't be seen." Hermione drags Harry out the door, Mikayla runs along with them. When they reach the mouth of the bridge near Hagrid's hut, they all stop running. "Hermione, will you please tell me what it is we're doing?" Harry asked before Hermione's insults to Malfoy fills their ears. Hermione explains to Harry, what's happening whilst Mikayla continues to watch the scene below. "Malfoy's coming! out the arch." Mikayla instructed after Harry complimented Hermione's punch. After the past four make their way down to Hagrid's, Harry points out the fact Buckbeak is still alive. "That's it, Harry! Remember what Dumbledore said? If we succeed, more than one innocent life may be spared. We need to save Buckbeak." Mikayla concluded, Hermione agreeing with her thought process, "Let's go." The three of them rush down the steps, hiding behind the pumpkin patch, "Here they come. I'd better hurry." Mikayla stops Harry from getting up, "Fudge has to see Buckbeak first before we steal him." Mikayla tells Harry, who didn't understand why Fudge needed to see the creature, Hermione explains that they'll think Hagrid set him free and it would get both Hagrid and Dumbledore in trouble.

They then argue about going after Pettigrew, Hermione explains the dangers and Harry understands why he can't do anything. "Fudge is coming. And we aren't leaving?" Mikayla spots a familiar stone on top of a pumpkin, she picks it up throwing it through the window smashing the jug on the table, she quickly ducks behind the pumpkin patch to prevent being seen. Hermione picks up the next stone, throwing it hitting Harry's head. "That hurt." Harry groans rubbing his head, Hermione quickly apologises before Mikayla points out the fact that their past selves are about to hide behind the pumpkins. The trio run into the forest, only a few trees deep, so they can still see what's going on. Hermione almost got spotted as she ask if her hair really looked that way from behind. Their past selves started running back up the steps, "Come on." Mikayla whispered, as she made her way back towards the pumpkin patch. Harry and Hermione close behind her, Hermione survey's the scene before egging Mikayla and Harry to go. The pair rush to Buckbeak, Harry has a problem with some crows as Mikayla bows, Buckbeak bows back in response, Mikayla grabs Buckbeak's chain. Harry follows suit, the both of them start pulling the creature but it doesn't budge. "Okay, Buckbeak. Come quickly. Come with us now. Come on." Harry encourages the creature as they both pull. My couldn't help but smile hearing Dumbledore, it was almost as though he knew to distract the Minister. Hermione grabbed the dead ferrets, luring Buckbeak into the forest just before the minister turned around. Mikayla could barely hear what the adults were saying, but what she did know is that Buckbeak lives. They made their way deeper into the forest where they had first met the Hippogriff, giving him the last of his ferrets, leaving Buckbeak in the clearing they rush to the forest's edge.

"Look it's Lupin." Hermione points out, as the Professor immobilises the whomping willow, "And Snape's coming." Mikayla points out, "And now we wait." The three of them sit down against the tree on the edge of the forest, Harry sat in between the two girls. The three of them spoke about nonsense before bat's came thundering out of the forest, Buckbeak was jumping around catching a few, "At least someone's enjoying himself." Hermione chuckles looking at the happy Hippogriff. "Girls?" Harry questioned, Hermione and Mikayla say "Yeah" in sync. "Before, down by the lake, when Mikayla and I were with Sirius, I did see someone people. They made the dementors go away." Hermione explains that she heard Snape telling Dumbledore people had casted the Patronus Charm, and that only really powerful wizards can conjure them. "It was my dad." Harry spoke happily, "And my mam." Mikayla smiled at him, "But guys, they're, they're -" Hermione, "Dead. We know." Mikayla and Harry explained to Hermione. "We're just telling you what we saw." Harry went on alone. There was a minute of silence before, Hermione informs them that their past selves were coming out of the whomping willow. "You see Sirius talking to us over there?" Mikayla asks Hermione, "He's asking us to come live with him." Harry tells her happily, "That's Great." Hermione smiles at them both, "When we free him, I'll never have to go back to the Dursleys'. It'll just be the three of us." Harry smiles, "We can live in the country, someplace you can see the sky. I think he'll like that after all those years in Azkaban." Mikayla dreams, Harry agrees with her plans. They hear a distant yell of Harry's name coming from Hermione's mouth, the rewatch the fight going on between Lupin and Sirius.

The trio start running along the forest edge, keeping an eye on past Harry and Mikayla. Hermione howls when werewolf Lupin begins to approach Harry and Mikayla. Harry tries to stop her, before she explains what she is doing, Mikayla decided to howl, Harry thanked them before they all turned and ran into the forest as they saw werewolf Lupin run towards them. Mikayla grabbed Harry's hand after he fell pulling him behind a tree, he grabs Hermione doing the same thing. They could see Lupin sniff around for them, the slowly made their way around the tree, Mikayla came face to face to werewolf Lupin once again. Buckbeak jumped in front of the trio scratching Lupin's face causing him to whimper in pain. Buckbeak scares off Lupin, "That was so scary." Hermione states, as she clinged onto Harry, "Poor Professor Lupin's having a really tough night." Mikayla stated causing the other two to nod, a big breeze blew threw the opening, they all look up into the sky to see the Dementors heading to the lake. "Sirius. Come on!" Harry yells, they all begin running to the small Lake, ending up at the opposite side of their past selves and Sirius.
