Mikayla's eyes flicker open, before re-closing them quickly, as the white light blinded her. She knew she was in the hospital wing, she groaned as she remembered why she laid on the uncomfortable bed. She had fallen out of the air twice, got hit by a bludger and by her fellow Gryffindor chaser, Katie Bell. She tried to open her eyes again, blinking rapidly to adjust to the brightness. "Good Morning beautiful." A boy's voice filled her ears, Mikayla tried to sit up but failed to do so, she felt arms help her before seeing an unexpected sight, Cormac McLaggen was teary eyed looking at the blonde. She noticed Hermione and all the Weasley's sitting over with Harry, Mikayla felt a twang of sadness, that none of them cared enough to sit with her. "Hello Cormac." Mikayla spoke sadly as she faced the boy, "I hope you don't mind, I asked your friends to let us spend sometime alone because I wanted to ask you a question." Mikayla nodded slowly allowing the boy to ask a question, "Will you be my girlfriend?" Mikayla's jaw dropped, she looked over at Harry's company, to see a really sad Fred and Hermione shaking her head 'no' violently. Mikayla took a relaxing breath looking in the blonde boy's eyes, "I'm sorry but I don't like you that way." her voice was calm to provide Cormac some comfort which didn't exactly go to plan. "Why not?" McLaggen asked angrily, Mikayla could feel the intensity coming from the boy. "I'm a very independent girl, and you were quite controlling when we went on our date. Plus we have very little in common." She continued using her calm soothing toned voice.

"You know what, FUCK YOU. You're a whore!" Mikayla stared frighteningly at the older boy, she blinks a couple of times to digest the insult McLaggen threw at her. "Calm down." Mikayla said quietly, after earning frantic looks from her friends. "Calm down? I'm not leaving here until I get what your sister promised me." Mikayla looked at him confused, Cormac climbed on top of her pinning her onto the bed. "Stop." Tears streamed down Mikayla's face, "After I get to take your virginity." He whispered viciously, biting Mikayla's ear. "GET OFF ME!" Mikayla yelled as she tried to fight the boy's restraint, she saw Fred running towards her. "GET OFF HER MCLAGGEN!" Fred yelled, before dragging Cormac off her and wrestling him on the ground. The slaps of the boys punches echoed through the wing. George and Ron rushed over grabbing a hold of the boys trying to pull them apart. "Stop fighting please!" Mikayla yelled crying, George held Cormac around the middle whilst Ron grabbed Fred, pulling him away. Mikayla lifted herself out of bed, she made her way over to the blonde boy, whose hand slapped against her cut up cheek. This caused the bleeding to start again and Mikayla to cup her cheek in shock, a gasp escaped her lips. Cormac leaves George's grip, straightened out his clothes before storming out of the hospital. Once the hospital wing door closed, Ron let go of Fred, Mikayla climbed back into bed silently, "Can someone tell Avery I want to talk to her?" Percy stands up, and rushes out of the room. Mikayla wiped her cheeks carefully getting rid of the tears that spilled, she cleared her throat before turning to Harry asking him how he was feeling. "Alright I guess, you ok?" Harry seemed genuinely concerned, Mikayla nodded, "I'm fine."

Madam Pomfrey insisted in keeping the pair for the entire weekend. They had regular visits from friends, Mikayla and Avery had a talk about what happened with Cormac. Apparently Avery convinced him to ask her out and that in return he'd get some, although Avery knew her sister wouldn't do this, she didn't think McLaggen would try and force himself on her. "Hiya Freddie." Mikayla smiled looking at the red head with a busted lip, she frowned slightly she didn't like being the reason Fred was hurt. "Hey Mia." he whispered to ensure no one heard his secret nickname for her. Mikayla scooted over, giving Fred enough room to lie down beside her. They took turns throwing Every-Flavour Beans at George and Ron, Mikayla threw one that bounced off Ron's forehead, she pretended to sleep while Ron yelled at Fred. "You're a meanie." Fred whispered at her once Ron stopped giving out to him, Mikayla kept her eyes closed but pouted her lip sadly. When she opened her eyes, Fred's face was inches from hers, he was smiling which Mikayla quickly mirrored. "I think we need to talk..." Fred stares into the beautiful blonde's eyes, Mikayla nodded agreeing with his statement.

Fred led Mikayla up to his dormitory after Madam Pomfrey discharged her, the room was completely deserted, leaving the pair alone. Fred instructs Mikayla to sit next to him on his bed, she does what is asked of her, her shoulder grazing the tall red heads shoulder. "What did yo-" Mikayla turns to ask Fred who connects their lips together. Mikayla was taken aback in shock but soon kissed the boy back, as he directed her with his hand to straddle him. The kiss deepened as Mikayla grazed Fred's lips with her tongue, asking for entrance which he gladly abided to. The duo fought for dominance with their tongues, Fred quickly winning. The two began to lie down on the bed as the dorm room bursted open. The quickly unraveled themselves from each other, a grin plastered on both of their faces as pretend they were just laughing. "There you are! I've been looking for you everywh-" George stopped as he assessed the situation, "It can wait, I think Alicia was looking for me." George turned on his heels rushing out of the room. Mikayla laughed lightly at the twins reaction to her and Fred awkwardly lying on Fred's bed. "Mia, I like you." Fred sighed as though the weight of the world had just been lifted off his shoulders, Mikayla couldn't help but smile, she felt the blood rush to her cheeks, "I like you too, Freddie." Mikayla stared into the hazel orbs in front of her, looking as though she was reading a book. Her lips were still warm from Fred's kiss, no matter how much she'd love to kiss him more, he stood up holding out his hand. "Let's go to the astronomy tower."
