The three girls woke up late today, their morale was running low since it was Avery's last day. Over the past couple of days, Ginny and Avery got really close, which Mikayla was very happy about. They talked a lot sharing many girl talk moments, Avery came out to everyone via letters, she thought it would be easier that way, and just like Mikayla, Ginny accepted Avery's sexuality straight away. Molly and Arthur even threw a little coming out party for Avery, it's amazing how within a week, Avery became apart of the family, just like Mikayla did. Ron and Avery even had a private conversation about school and why the girls acts like polar opposites towards their rivals during summer and holidays. Mikayla told Avery about Sirius, leaving out the parts that she, Harry and Hermione broke him out of the cell in Hogwarts and the fact that he's an Animagus. Avery was happy that her sister was surrounded by loving people. Mrs Weasley told Avery that she's always welcome at the burrow.

"Hide and Seek?" Ginny asks the group after Lunch. They all agreed to play, but Percy, Molly and Arthur obviously, they decided George was going to be the seeker. Everyone ran in different directions, Mikayla ran to the broom shed, finding a big cupboard high up that she could fit in easily, as she was climbing up Fred rushed in. "Shit I was going to hide there and George is on 70." Fred whispers, Mikayla looked at the cupboard. "There's room for the both of us if we squish together." Mikayla whispered in response, climbing into the cupboard and squishing herself towards the right cupboard wall. Fred gets up, they close the cupboard doors and stayed in silence. "READY OR NOT HERE I COME!" George yells so that everyone can hear.

Mikayla lifts her index finger to her lips signalling to Fred to be quiet since she could hear George's voice outside the shed. "You should've teamed up with Mikayla, she always wins Hide and Seek." The broom shed's door opens, they hear brooms rattling, "Yeah, she's good at hiding things." Avery speaks sadly, Mikayla furrows her eyebrows at her sister's words. "What do you mean by that?" George questions. "She's just good at hiding her feelings and stuff. Like how she forgave Fred so easily after he broke her heart, how she hides how sad she is about losing Cedric. She always puts up a front to be strong for others, and stop people worrying about her. etc, etc." Mikayla looked down at her hands ashamed of herself as Avery spills the truth to George, "But she got over Fred, she's not heartbroken because of him anymore." George argues, "She is, she's just hiding it, it killed her seeing him being with Valerie, even when she was with Cedric. I've known her my entire life, I pay more attention to her than she realises, she's been hiding it so well, that she's even blind to her own feelings." Mikayla felt so strange overhearing this conversation, luckily George and Avery left the broom shed.

Mikayla and Fred stayed in awkward silence for about 15 minutes. Mikayla kept moving around uncomfortably as her sister's words haunted her. She felt so exposed and naked in Avery's eyes, was she still in love with Fred? Should she be more vulnerable in front of the people who surround her? She really wished Fred hadn't also overheard that the conversation. "Are you sure you saw Fred come in here? We already searched this place." George questioned someone, "Yes, George I'm sure." Ron's voice filled the tiny space, he was obviously mad about being found. "And I saw Mikayla running in here." Ginny told the group, "Shit." Avery and George both murmured realising that Mikayla and Fred probably overheard their previous conversation. "You don't think they snuck off with each other do you?" Ron whispered, "No, Mikayla may not be over Fred but she's not going to cause him to cheat on Valerie. She's not like that." Avery defended her sister, recovering quickly from the previous conversation. "You didn't hear? Valerie dumped Fred after the third task. Although we don't know why because she ranted in French and I'm not fluent in the language." Avery asked George what Valerie said, "She said, if I remember correctly, 'Tu es un idiot, tu l'aimes toujours! Elle aurait pu mourir et ne jamais connaître la vérité sur ce que tu ressens vraiment!' Do you know what it means?" Mikayla's eyes widened, she knew what it means. "Yeah I do. She said, 'You're an idiot, you're still in love with her! She could've died and never knew the truth about how you truly feel!' which makes complete sense why she dumped him." Mikayla felt her cheeks burn brightly. "I give up, I'm going in for dinner." Ron groans, the broom shed door slams. "We should go to. Tell come inside once they get hungry." Avery tells them as her stomach growls. Mikayla listens to three sets of footsteps to walk towards the door, out and towards the house.

After five minutes Mikayla opened the cupboard and jumped out, stretching her whole body after spending way too much time squished. She doesn't wait for Fred, she just walks straight towards the house, her stomach angry at her for depriving it from food. "Where were you?" Mikayla tapped her pointer finger against her nose repetitively, "I might want use it in the future." It might be a little cruel but she felt less embarrassed after hearing why Valerie broke up with Fred, it was like they were even. "So, I'm having a birthday party on August 5th in the Manor, and I was hoping that you 5 would come..." Avery invites Mikayla, Ginny, Ron, Fred and George. Mrs Weasley tells her that they will be there, and thank her for the 10 days notice, so they can organise how the five kids would travel. Seconds later, Fergal O'Brien slides into the room, Mikayla stood up with her wand in her hand. Everyone but Avery and Fergal looked at her confused as to why she acted so stand offish. Mikayla straightens herself up, before sharing a tight hug with her sister, "Stay safe." she whispered, Avery just nodded. Fergal summoned Avery's belongings, and soon the pair were engulfed by green flames.
