The Day Before the Match

Ginny joined the foursome on the way up to the top floor, "What are Weasley's Wizard Wheezes?" Harry questions after hearing Mrs Weasley shout about it. Mikayla, Ron and Ginny laughed, "Mum found this stack order forms when she was cleaning Fred and George's room." Ron began, before Mikayla took over, "Great long price-lists for stuff they've been inventing, Joke stuff, like fake wands, trick sweets and loads of other things." Ron makes a remark that it was brilliant, he had no idea they were inventing those things. "We've been hearing explosions out of their room for ages, but we never thought they were actually making things." Ginny went on with the explanation, "we thought they just liked the noise." She laughed, Ron went on explaining the fact they didn't get as much O.W.Ls as Mrs Weasley was expecting, that some of their inventions were a bit dangerous and the fight they had about their futures after Hogwarts. In that very moment Percy's bedroom door opened, he looked very angry as they were being too loud while he was trying to work. Harry questions Percy on his work, Mikayla actually found it a little interesting, but she knew never to bring it up around Ron, who was quick to make a snide remarks about the importance of Percy's work, which to him there was none.

When they arrived in Ron's room, his little grey owl Sirius had given to him was hopping up and down wildly in it's cage, twittering madly. "Shut up, Pig." Ron gives out to the owl, before explaining the sleeping situation. Harry questioned Ron about calling the owl pig, when Ginny explained his real name is Pigwidgeon. Ron makes sarcastic remark toward Ginny before turning to Harry, "Ginny named him. She reckons it's sweet. And I tried to change it, but it was too late, he won't answer to anything else. So now he's Pig. I've got to keep him up here because he annoys Errol and Hermes. He annoys me, too, come to that." Everyone knows that Ron doesn't really feel this way about Pigwidgeon, he spoke the same way about Scabbers and when he thought he had been eaten by Crookshanks, he showed how much he really did care about his rat.

"We should probably help mum with dinner." Ginny told the group, Mikayla agreed remembering that there was twelve people to be feed. They all made their ways downstairs, to find Mrs Weasley alone in the kitchen looking very mad. "We're eating out in the garden. There's just not room for twelve people in here. Could you take the plates outside, girls? Bill and Charlie are setting up the tables..." Mikayla, Ginny and Hermione pick up a stack of plates each, making their way out to Bill and Charlie. Fred and George were already out there, Mikayla stood with them as Bill and Charlie were having table wars, using their wands to cause the tables to try to knock the other out of the air. Mikayla cheered them on before Bill's table broke off one of the legs of Charlie's table causing a loud bang and an angry Percy.

At seven o'clock, the Weasleys, Harry Hermione and Mikayla all sat at the now fixed tables. The tables were filled with food, Mrs Weasley had really out done herself and there was many mini conversations going on around the table. Mikayla would throw a piece of sweet corn at Fred every now and again, just to make him lose his train of thought, she withheld a conversation with Hermione, about possible things they're going to learn this year, to play as a cover so Fred couldn't accuse her off anything, although she soon ran out of sweet corn. Mrs Weasley was giving Bill grief about his ear ring and long hair, "I rather like it, Bill. You're like an edgy Prince Charming." Mikayla proclaimed causing Bill to thank her and puff out his chest and Mrs Weasley to stop bickering with her eldest son for a bit. Charlie was explaining the horrific England loss against Transylvania, Mikayla pretended to fall asleep making Ginny laugh a little, as she faked struggling to keep her eyes open. "Am I boring you?" Charlie snapped eventually Mikayla was a little taken aback since her and Charlie always got along because of how similar they are. "One does not do well to dwell on the past, Mr. Weasley." Mikayla spoke in a very Dumbledore-esque way with a rather stern voice. "That was weird." George chuckles at Mikayla's Dumbledore impression, Mikayla didn't even know where it came from, it jus kind of happened. Mikayla looked down at her plate taking a breath, before scooping up some mash potato, not taking her eyes off her food, begins to eat again. "Don't even dream of it Fred, drop the grave boat and leave George alone." Mikayla looked up to see Fred mid-picking up the gravy boat, getting ready to pour it on his brother 'accidentally'. Fred removes his hand off the gravy boat, looking at his girlfriend upset, as George thanked her gift.

"I'm so full, I may pop." Mikayla groans contently yet filled with regret, "Fred your girlfriend is quite the charmer, isn't she?" Charlie chuckles looking between Mikayla and Fred, but his is question was more of a sarcastic comment. "I sure am, Charlie. OUCH!" Mikayla looked down and there was a lot of Gnomes biting her, she lifted her feet onto the chair. "That's reminds me, boys I need you all the De-Gnome the garden. They've been biting all the girls." Mr Weasley orders and informs, "I can't dad, I have too much work to do." Percy excuses himself from the task and the table, it ended up just being the twins De-Gnomeing the garden, as Charlie and Bill came up with valid excuses not to do it, and Mrs Weasley decided that it would be a good punishment after the tongue toffee incident. Mikayla decided to feed the chickens and collect their eggs, she moved down the line from Bonnie to Georgia, ensuring that they were fed correctly and triple checking that the coop door was locked. She washed all the eggs, placing them into the empty egg carton she found in the press, before writing on the carton. 'Collected on 21/08/94 @9pm'
