Mikayla took her seat on the stands of the Quidditch pitch that was now home to a massive maze. Mikayla has seen this maze before in her nightmares before going to the graveyard. Mikayla eyes widen, she shook the thought from her head, she listened to Bagman announce the task and the order in which the Champions will be starting the task. Mikayla takes a sharp breath letting the darkness consume her.
Mikayla looked around, she was seeing the graveyard in a new light, there was a headstone with a massive hooded figure, representing death. The names immediately made sense to Mikayla, Riddle. Mikayla looked around just as Harry and Cedric appeared, the cup flies out of their hand. The boys were trying to figure out where they are, "Mikayla?" Cedric questioned looking at Mikayla in confusion, walking towards her and then through her, Mikayla spun around to see herself unconscious beside a cauldron. "Cedric we need to get back to the cup!" Harry warned, "She's freezing. What is she doing here? Is this part of the task?" Cedric questioned Harry, shaking real Mikayla slightly. She wakes up with a start, her eyes widen at the sight of the boys. "No! You have to go, get out of here now." Mikayla warned the boys. Getting up and looking at a door where light was beaming out of it through the cracks. "GO NOW!" Real Mikayla yelled at the boys, as man walked out of the room, cradling a baby like figure. A cool raspy voice fills their ears, "Kill the spare." "Avada Kevadra!" Wormtail tells before a stream of green light hits Cedric in the chest, causing him to flip and land eagle-spread lifeless. "NOOOO!!" The two Mikayla's screamed, tears streaming down both of their faces. "CEDRIC! Wake up, Cedric please wake up." The real Mikayla sobs as she hugs Cedric's dead body, wishing and begging for him to wake up. Everything went black.
The competition had started, Mikayla rushed through the students towards Dumbledore. "PROFESSOR! YOU NEED TO STOP IT." Mikayla yelled crying, the teachers all looked at the sobbing girl in confusion, "What happened? What did you see?" Dumbledore spoke in a rush. "Little Hangleton Graveyard. Wormtail. Killed Cedric." Mikayla was hyperventilating by this point. "Can you save them?" Dumbledore asked, Mikayla shook her head no. "I was there somehow. I tried to warn them but they they, didn't listen." Mikayla sobs, "Moody take this girl to Madam Pomfrey. She needs a calming draught." Dumbledore orders, Moody nods before ushering Mikayla out of sight. "Immobulus!" Mikayla's body froze, she had been cursed. Moody comes into view, "Time to sleep." Moody's metal boot kicked Mikayla in the side of the head knocking her unconscious.
Mikayla felt someone shake her awake, she groaned her eyes flickered open. She sits up quickly, "No! You have to go, get out of here now." Mikayla warned the boys. Getting up, stumbling lightly and looking at a door where light was beaming out of it through the cracks. "NOOOO!!" Mikayla screamed, tears streaming down her face, "CEDRIC! Wake up, Cedric please wake up." She sobs as she hugs Cedric's dead body, wishing and begging for him to wake up. "Please Cedric. Wake up. I Love You." Mikayla bargained with the dead body, telling Cedric that she loved him once again.
Mikayla cried out as the rat-like man grabbed Harry's arms and pulled him to his feet. "No, stop!" She yelled as the man dragged Harry toward the marble headstone. She stood up and tried to pull Wormtail away from Harry, earning herself a slap in the cheek. With the Wormtail's lighted wand, Mikayla could now see the nameTom Riddle Sr on the tombstone more clearly. Pettigrew forced Harry to turn around and slammed him against the headstone. Peter then conjured tight cords around Harry, tying him from the neck to ankles to the headstone. Mikayla shouted at Peter to stop, but he didn't listen. Harry struggled against the fastenings, but then Wormtail hit him. Once he was sure that Harry was bound so tightly to the headstone that he couldn't move an inch, Wormtail drew a length of some black material from the inside of his cloak and stuffed it roughly into Harry's mouth. Then, without a word, he hurried toward Mikayla. "You bastard." Mikayla spat as he kneeled down in front of her. Wormtail reached out with an open palm and whipped his hand against my cheek. Mikayla didn't flinch, she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of hurting her, she was feeling a stinging sensation from the force of his slap. Harry let out a muffled shout, but Wormtail didn't pay attention, shoving a gag into Mikayla's mouth. Wormtail rushed away from her but they couldn't see to where he had gone. Mikayla stared in front of her, her eyes, no matter how much she wanted to look away, seemed to be drawn to Cedric's body. The disbelief that he was dead was strong, but she couldn't deny what she saw. He was clearly hit with the Killing Curse. Cedric was no more.
Suddenly, something moving from the side caught her eye. A gigantic snake was slithering in the grass and circling the headstone that Harry was tied to. Mikayla looked on in horror as Harry triedto move away from the snake but couldn't. Wormtail's fast and wheezy breathing came along and Mikayla looked to where he was forcing something across the ground. It was a stone cauldron and he was pushing it to the foot of the grave that Harry was on. The cauldron was full of what seemed to be water, she could hear it slopping around, and it was larger than any cauldron she had ever used; a great stone belly large enough for a full-grown man to sit in. The bundle at Harry's feet started to move around restlessly. Mikayla wondered what it could be, but was distracted by Wormtail's movements. He was now busying himself at the bottom of the cauldron with a wand. Suddenly, there were crackling flames beneath it. The large snake slithered away into the darkness. The liquid in the cauldron seemed to heat very quickly. The surface began not only to bubble, but send out fiery sparks, as though it were on fire. Steam was thickening, blurring the outline of Wormtail tending the fire. The bundle of robes moved faster and then the cold voice that ordered Wormtail to kill Cedric spoke again. "Hurry!" The whole surface of the water was alight with sparks now. It looked as though it had been encrusted with diamonds. "It is ready, Master." "Now..." The cold voice, coming from the bundle of robes at Harry's feet said. Master? Mikayla's eyes widened looking at Harry terrified. Wormtail went to the bundle of robes and pulled them open on the ground, revealing what was inside them. Harry let out a loud yell that was strangled in the wad of material blocking his mouth. It was as though Wormtail had flipped over a stone and revealed something ugly, slimy, and blind but worse, a hundred times worse. The thing Wormtail had been carrying had the shape of a crouched human child, except Mikayla knew what it was, or who it was. "HARRY IT'S VOLDEMORT!" Mikayla choked as she tried to scream through her gag.
Voldemort seemed almost helpless; he raised his thin arms, put them around Wormtail's neck, and Wormtail lifted him. As he did so, Mikayla saw a look of revulsion on Wormtail's pale face in the firelight. Wormtail carried Voldemort to the rim of the cauldron before lowering him into it. There was a hiss and he vanished below the surface, his frail body hitting the bottom of the cauldron with a soft thud. Mikayla had hoped that he would drown in the cauldron, but she knew it wouldn't happen. Mikayla kept her eyes glued to Wormtail, who was now speaking. His voice shook; he seemed frightened beyond his wits. He raised his wand, closed his eyes, and spoke to the night.
