Out of The Shadows (Golden Trio Era) {1}

GOAT

"Mikayla!" The Weasley twins and Lee Jordan ambush her once she's inside the common room. "Meeting in our dorm in 10 minutes." Lee spat out quickly Mikayla nodded agreeing to go to the meeting. The girls left the boys company and made their way up to their own dormitory. They wanted to gather their study supplies and work together in the common room, Mikayla grabbed her personal parchment for the meeting. She left all her study stuff with Hermione before making her way into the boys dormitories, specifically Fred, George, and Lee's dorm. Mikayla knocked on the door waiting for it to be answered so she wouldn't walk in on something she shouldn't've. A friendly  looking George opened the door, he steps aside allowing Mikayla to walk in, the boys dorms are set up just like the girls but it's clearly messer but that could just be the Weasley twins faults.

"So what do we need to sort out?" Lee asked Mikayla, she had a feeling this would happen, so she brought a list, "Who are we going invite?, when, and where are we going to have it? What supplies do we need?, food, drink etc. What games will we be playing? How often will we be doing it weekly, fortnightly or monthly? Do we have a membership fee to fund the food and drinks? What jobs do each of us have to do for it to be a successful night? Is there any spells we need to do to prevent people wandering in? And How long will the game night last each night?" The boys all beamed with pride once Mikayla read out the list, they knew she'd think of everything. "Will we start with people?" George asks, Mikayla nods setting up her ink and quill before the boys began listing out names, Mikayla scribbled down the names and read the list back out to them and they agreed it was everyone they wanted. "I think we should just do it in the common room, monthly on a Friday night." Lee informs the group who agrees with him but that if the members want to change to fortnightly, they can. "Three sickle admission?" Fred suggested, "For the year or the term?" Mikayla asked the group, they decided the term would be better. They answered all the questions Mikayla had asked, Mikayla wrote all the answers down. "We should come up with a cover club just incase outsiders get suspicious." Mikayla suggests and the end of the meeting, "Gryffindors Official Chess Club, the G.O.C.C" Mikayla shook her head no, "it'd have to be something we'd do during the night. How about the Gryffindor Official Astrology Tutorage. G.O.A.T. We can pretend to be tutoring Astrology to the others." Everyone agreed on calling the group GOAT. "Right, I need to study so I'll see you down at dinner in an hour." Mikayla smiled before leaving the boys dormitories finally rejoining Hermione, Ron and Harry.

"Harry don't you have quidditch practice now?" Mikayla asked staring at her watch. Harry ran to get changed into his quidditch robes, "wanna study outside today?" Mikayla asked picking up her stuff. Hermione and Ron followed her actions and the three sat on a bench in the courtyard.

The Slytherin and Gryffindor teams both made their way out into the courtyard, Mikayla and Hermione put down their books and the second Flint handed a scroll to Wood, "Uh oh, I smell trouble." Ron worries the three friends make their way over to the group. "...owing to the need to train their new Seeker." Wood reads, Mikayla shared a confused look with Ron. "You've got a new seeker. Who?" Oliver ask the Slytherins step aside and Draco Malfoy steps forward. "Malfoy?" Harry questions whilst the rest of Gryffindor team smirk, "That's right. And that's not all that's new this year." The Slytherin team display their nimbus 2001s "Those are Nimbus 2001s. How did you get those?" Ron questioned confused. "A gift from Draco's father." Flint smirks, Mikayla scoffs quite loudly, "You see, Weasley, unlike some, my father can afford the best." Mikayla placed a restricting hand on Ron's shoulder to prevent him from doing something to get in more trouble. "At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in. They got in on pure talent." Hermione spoke smoothly and truthfully. Malfoy advanced on her, "No one asked your opinion, you filthy little mudblood." He spat Mikayla went to retaliate but Ron got there first attempting to curse Malfoy but because of his broken wand it backfired. Everyone rushed over to see if he was ok but Mikayla, she heard the Slytherins laugh at Ron. She spun around and socked Malfoy in the nose, he falls to the ground groaning loudly. "Watch who you cross Malfoy. You don't want to see me mad." Mikayla spat at him as she hovered over him. Draco shuffled away before Mikayla turned and rushed over to Ron. "I think she broke my nose!" Draco yelled just as Mikayla made it to her friends side. Mikayla helped Harry pick up Ron "Let's take him to Hagrid's. He'll know what to do." Harry tells the girls as they rush Ron away from the crowd to the gamekeepers hut.

"This calls for a specialist's equipment." Hagrid walks back into the hut with a wooden bucket, Mikayla, Hermione and Harry tried to help Ron by rubbing his back comfortingly. Hagrid sits down across from them "Nothing to do but wait till it stops, I'm afraid." Hagrid gives the bad news, Harry held the bucket whilst Mikayla and Hermione continued to comfort Ron. "Better out than in. Who was Ron trying to curse, anyway?" Hagrid questions, "Malfoy. He called Hermione... Well, I don't know exactly what it means." Harry admits. Ron explains the meaning of a mud blood, which is a wizard born in a muggle family and that it means dirty blood because it isn't pure. Mikayla has never seen Ron so hateful and angry about something. "See, the thing is, Harry, there are some wizards, like the Malfoy family who think they're better than everyone else because they're what people call pure-blood." Hagrid explains the horrible blood status prejudice, the conservation stays on the topic for another 5 minutes, Hagrid comforted Hermione while Mikayla and Harry aided Ron. The boys had to leave for their detentions. "We'll see you at dinner." Mikayla told them before her and Hermione made their way into their dorm.

Hermione and Mikayla sat on Mikayla's bed with the silencing charm as Mikayla told Hermione about G.O.A.T. She asked Hermione to help her with the invitations, Hermione told her she had a charm that will make the note unreadable to anyone out of the group.

'Dear fellow Gryffindor! You have been invited to join the secret society GOAT. The first meeting will be the first Friday in October at 8pm until late in the Gryffindor Common Room. The objective of the group is a gaming night where the selected members will each eat and drink to their hearts content while playing games such as Truth or Dare, Never Have I Ever, Wink Murder, Medusa, Balloon Stomp, Find The Leader, Act It Out and Would You Rather. It costs 3 sickles termly to have satisfactory food and drinks. THIS GROUP IS A SECRET, DON'T SHARE WITH ANYONE!!! "We should go for dinner." Hermione says looking at the time, "let me just show this to the boys before I send it out." Mikayla told her rushing over to the boys dormitories and knocking on the Weasley twins and Lee's dorm. "Mikayla, what's up?" Fred asked opening the door, it was only the four of them, Mikayla casted the silencing spell on the room before showing the boys the invite. "Are these any good?" Mikayla asked hopefully, she waited in silence while the boys read. "There will be a charm on them preventing anyone who it isn't addressed to from reading it. And I got a secret compartment in my room for the money." Mikayla explained just after the boys looked back up at her. "In that case they're perfect." Fred beamed making Mikayla smile, "glad you think so. I'll send them out tonight after dinner." Mikayla turned walking towards the door after she spoke, "By the way Mikayla, you've got a good arm." Mikayla spin back around looking at George confused on what he was on about. "You almost broke Malfoy's nose today." He laughed after realising she had no idea what he was talking about. "Just all the more reason not to cross me Weasley." Mikayla laughed before joining Hermione in the common room. They waited another five minutes for Harry and Ron before giving up and making their ways to the Great Hall.

After dinner, Mikayla plated up dinner and desserts for the boys leaving them on their beds before her and Hermione went to bed.
