Guitar Lessons

Mikayla had already gone down for breakfast when George walked into my room. "So Freddie, who's Mia?" My eyes widen, he heard me last night. "What are you talking about?" I ask him acting as if I don't know who he's talking about. I only call Mikayla 'Mia' when we're alone, so George has no idea who I was thinking about while I was masterbating last night. "Seriously? You were basically screaming, I'm surprised Mikayla didn't hear you." I pushed past my brother, telling him it was none of his business who Mia is.

Third Person POV
"Morning Freddie." Mikayla smiled as Fred entered the dining room, the only spare seats left was beside Mikayla and Percy, so Fred quickly took a seat beside the blue eyed girl. "Morning." Fred smiles acting casually like nothing happened the night before. George took the seat beside Percy, Mikayla greeted him happily. "Why are you in such a good mood?" Ron asked Mikayla across the table, Mikayla shrugged her shoulders, "Just feels like today is going to be a good day, ya know?" She smiled brightly, Fred nodded while George gave her confused look.

"Can you teach me how to play?" Fred accidentally jump scares Mikayla, she was sitting on their bed strumming her guitar. "Sure, sit down." Mikayla tapped the empty spot beside her, Fred does as he was instructed. "I'm going to teach you how to play a song I wrote a while ago, and we'll sing it together ok? I'll rewrite some of the lyrics to match the person singing." Mikayla explained, Fred nodded indicating he knew what she meant. Ginny walked in to collect something in the corner before Mikayla taught Fred every chord there is. "Right so A minor is index finger in the first string, middle finger on fourth string and ring finger on the third string." Mikayla described, Fred almost got it right, Mikayla took his hand in hers, placing his fingers in the right positions. She turned her head towards Fred who was already looking at her, their faces were inches apart. Fred began to lean in, his lips barely brushed Mikayla's before a lot knock came from the door. "Come in." Mikayla shouted towards the door and in walked Percy, "Which one of yous did it?" Mikayla and Fred looked at him completely confused about what he was talking about, "Who spilled tea on my picture of Penelope?" He asked angrily, "We've been in here since 12." Mikayla informed him, he nodded before rushing out of the room towards George's room.

Mikayla went back to teaching Fred, now he was learning how to switch chords smoothly. "A minor to F to C, repeat that four times." Fred played the tune, Mikayla smiled brightly proud of the red head, telling him he's got the verse melody right. "Next is pre-chorus, C to D minor to F to C to E minor to D minor to F!" Mikayla jumped up excitedly tackling Fred in a hug, and before she realised what he was doing, his lips crashed against hers. Warm tingles shot through her entire body, as she kissed him back, her hands made their way to Fred's neck, he grabbed her waist pulling her closer. They broke apart after a couple of seconds, Fred laid his forehead on Mikayla's as they stared looked at each other whilst blushing and smiling widely. "FRED! MIKAYLA!" Mrs Weasley yelled from down the hall, the pair broke apart before Mrs Weasley entered the room. "Did you see Ginny's school jumper?" Fred shook his head no, Mikayla on the other hand opened her school trunk, she pulled out all the school jumpers she had, "Are any of these it?" Mikayla asked, Mrs Weasley took a look before shaking her head no. Mikayla put away her uniform after Mrs Weasley left. This left the pair embarrassed and confused on what their kiss meant, or what to do. Mikayla cleared her throat,  "Alright so the chorus goes..."

After a few hours, Fred nailed every chord, and learned the songs instrumental. Mikayla took out her songbook, she change him to her in the first verse. She taught Fred the lyrics which he caught on quite quickly. "What are you guys doing up here?" Ginny bursts in, Mikayla explains that she's been teaching Fred guitar and that they are about to sing one of her old songs together. "Give me one second!" Ginny ran out of the room, the pair shared a confused glance. Ginny soon returned with Harry, Hermione, Ron, and George. "Since when do you want to learn guitar?" Ron asks sitting on a cushion on the floor, "Since I knew someone who could play it." Fred bit back, "Ginny did you find your jumper?" Mikayla asked, the red headed girl shook her head, "Stop trying to divert the situation. Now sing." Hermione ordered the pair. "This is going to be really scary." Fred turns to Mikayla, George and Ron laugh at him before they start playing.

Mikayla watched Fred as he played and sang, then once she was singing, she looked around the whole room but mainly focusing on Hermione and Ginny to distract her from the uncomfortableness of the situation. Fred watched Mikayla intently, throughout the performance, Mikayla caught him a few times. They sang the last line before Harry and Hermione clapped loudly, Ron and George whistled while Ginny beamed brightly before secretly returning to the corner from earlier where she had hidden a film camera. Ginny successful exited the room without anyone seeing the camera in her hand.

"I'm starving!" Fred groaned causing Mikayla to chuckle, "Come on, we can ask Tom if there's any food ready." Mikayla held out her hands pulling the hazel eyes boy off the bed. They walked silently down the stairs, before seeing the everyone else digging into their dinner. "Thanks for calling us." Mikayla heard Fred mumble to George, Mikayla sat in between Hermione and Ginny as Mrs Weasley told them about the Love Potions, she used to cook up when she was young. The four ladies giggled at the stories, Mikayla could use some motherly advice today, but she couldn't ask Mrs Weasley because she'd know she would be talking about Fred and that's just awkward. "Girls meeting in Hermione's room after dinner." Mikayla whispered at Ginny and Hermione, who quickly nodded.
