Gryffindor Versus Ravenclaw

A roar came from the Gryffindor stand as the team stepped onto the pitch. The Ravenclaw team, were already standing in the middle of the pitch. Mikayla noticed Harry's interest in the oppositions seeker, Cho Chang, "You can't let a pretty face get in your way Harry. We're here to win." Harry looked at Mikayla stunned at first because he didn't realise how'd she knew, but then he nodded understandingly. "Wood, Davies, Shake hands." Madam Hooch spike briskly, the captains followed their instructions, Madam Hooch blew the whistle and the players were off.

Mikayla caught the Quaffle once Madam Hooch had released it, she dodged Roger Davies and Randolph Burrow as they tried to steal the Quaffle. She could hear McGonagall giving out to Lee for focusing on Harry's broom instead of the actual game. "O'Brien passes to Bell." Lee's voice ran, Katie rushes to the goal, Harry speeding in the opposite direction. "10 points to Gryffindor." Mikayla and Alicia worked together in intercepting the Quaffle from Jeremy Stretton. Mikayla got hit it in the ankle from a bludger sent from Jason Samuels, she heard a snap but continued playing. She got possession again, racing towards Grant Page and dodging another bludger from Duncan Inglebee, she scores against Ravenclaw. "O'Brien scores! The score is 40- nil to Gryffindor." Lee yells before returning to his facts about the Firebolt. Fred blocks a bludger from hitting Mikayla sending it towards Stretton, breaking the boys broom. Mikayla smiled proudly at her boyfriend before zooming at Burrow, blocking him from passing the Quaffle to Davies. Katie grabs the Quaffle, passes it to Alicia who races up the pitch, dodging bludgers and Ravenclaws. Mikayla, Alicia and Katie all scored again making the score, 80- nil, Harry had spotted the Snitch. He was only a few feet away from it before a bludger hit by Samuels hurdles at Harry, altering Harry's course and causing him to lose the snitch. There was a loud boo from the gryffindors but the Ravenclaws cheered loudly, George hit a bludger at Samuels in pure frustration, that he barely dodged. The Ravenclaws closed the distance in points from 80 to 50, Cho continued to block Harry anytime he went for the snitch. Harry dives Cho following close behind, when Harry switches direction Cho continues to fall, landing on the ground. Mikayla got the Quaffle swerving in and out of Ravenclaws towards Page, she scored before hearing a scream from Cho. Harry jumped into action, performing a spell Mikayla didn't know, before turning around and catching the snitch ending the game!

"WOO!" Mikayla yelled happily, swing her arm over her head. "Episkey." Mikayla whispered as she pointed to her ankle that quickly clicked right back in place. The team rushed to Harry, all of them stayed in the air as they crushed their seeker. Mikayla along with Alicia and Katie kissed Harry's cheek, causing him to burn red. The team made it to the ground slowly, before seeing McGonagall lead some Slytherins off the pitch, Lupin explained how it was them dressed as the Dementors. While everyone congratulated Harry, Mikayla's right hand grabbed Fred's robes pulling him towards her and forcing their lips to connect. Mikayla's left arm swung around Fred's shoulders, placing her hand in his hair, as he places his hands on her waist, pulling her more into the kiss. There was a flash and click indicating someone had taken a picture but Mikayla was enjoying herself too much to see who it was. Their kiss went on until they needed to breathe, when they broke apart Fred was blushing widely, Mikayla hid her face in his chest smiling to herself. "I thought you two were never going to stop." George's voice filled Mikayla's ears making her burn red, "Anyway. Party in the common room?" George asks, Mikayla steps away from Fred cheering happily, "Yes!" Fred and George looked at each other menacingly, planning how to get stuff for the party, before rushing off. "Wait! Fergal sent me money for Christmas, come to the tower and let me give it to you and you can spend it on the party. Go all out." Mikayla begged them. The boys followed her to the tower, waiting in the common room since the girls dormitory can't be accessed by boys. Mikayla also grabbed her old bookbag, "Capacious extremis". She rushed back to the boys, "Alright here's the money, and this bag has an extension charm on it so you'll be able to carry loads." She hands the bag to Fred and the money to George, "see you later." She pecked Fred's lips, causing George to frown asking what does he get, "high five?" George takes the gesture happily before the pair disappear out the portrait hole.

Mikayla sat with Hermione reading their muggle studies book, discussing what they were reading about the Social Habits of British Muggles. "Are you ok?" Mikayla asked shutting her book, the twins rushed in with loads of stuff from Honeydukes. "Yeah, I'm fine." Hermione definitely didn't look fine, Fred grabbed Mikayla's hand, "Go make sure she's ok." Mikayla whispered to Harry as Fred dragged her to the drinks table. "Here you go." George hands Mikayla a cup of Butterbeer, whilst Fred hands her a Chocolate frog, "some service you have here." Mikayla chuckles taking a sip of her Butterbeer, she watched a anxiously as the twins juggled bottles of Butterbeer. "If Scabbers hadn't just been eaten, he could have had some of these Fudge Flies, he used to really like them." Ron voice filled the room, Mikayla watched as Hermione slammed her book in tears rushing to the dormitories. Mikayla sent Fred a sympathetic look that apologised for having to leave, "Go make sure she's ok." Fred eggs Mikayla on, she bumps roughly into Ron, "You can't just drop it, you're being a really mean git, you know." Mikayla rushed up after her friend.

"Awe 'Mione, come here." Mikayla held out her arms, opening them for a hug for her best friend, who quickly filled the space. "Shush, Ron is being a foul git right now." Mikayla rubbed small circles in Hermione's back as she comforted her. Mikayla just hummed as the pair sat on Hermione's bed, she soon heard soft snores coming from the bushy haired girl. Mikayla tucked Hermione into bed, taking off her shoes and leaving on the floor next to her bed. Mikayla magicked her a glass of water and a cauldron cake to make her friend feel better when she wakes up.

Mikayla returned to the party after spending an hour comforting her friend, "how is she?" Harry asked as soon as Mikayla reached the last step. "Well she cried herself to sleep, so not great." Mikayla sent daggers to Ron, who looked mad and worried all-in-one. "I'm going to find Fred, please just reason with Ron." Mikayla begged Harry before looking for her boyfriend. She sneakily jumped on his back, "Welcome back, gorgeous. How is she?" Fred smiled after Mikayla pecked his cheek, "asleep." He nodded happily. The pair danced together, had a eating competition with Every Flavour beans, which Mikayla lost once she bit into a rotten egg bean. She had to brush her teeth after that one. They found an empty armchair to make-out on before being interrupted by Professor McGonagall entering the common room. "It's 1 in the morning off to bed." McGonagall was in her dressing gown, her hair was askew even with the tartan headband wrapped around it. The Gryffindors groaned before making their ways to bed, "Night Freddie." Mikayla whispered lowly before kissing the boy goodnight. "Night Mia." He whispered back before rushing to his dorms.
