"Home sweet home!" Mikayla smiled dropping onto her bed in her shared room with Ginny, who followed her actions. "Pack your bags for a week length stay at the Leaky Cauldron. Make sure you have your school trunks." Mr Weasley tells the girls, "That lasted long." Mikayla and Ginny laughed, packing more casual clothes and their school trunks, Ginny soon left Mikayla alone. "MIA!" Fred yelled running into the room, Mikayla looked at him weirdly instigating for him to continue, "Do you know were my red jumper is?" Fred whined Mikayla looked through her blue bag, before handing Fred his red jumper that he asked her to mind on their last night of Egypt. He thanked her before running back out of the room. Mikayla stood their confused at what had just happened.
When they arrived at the Leaky Cauldron it was 11pm, everyone was wreaked from all the travel that they just couldn't wait to get upstairs and sleep. Tom handed them keys, Mikayla returned from the restroom and Tom told her the room numbers. The only place free was with Fred, they would have to share a double bed, Mikayla face palmed before opening Selene's cage and the window so the bird can move around freely. "Freddie, I need you to turn around while I put on my pyjamas." Mikayla told him, Fred turned around and put his hands over his eyes whilst Mikayla put on a black tank top with a red plaid pyjama bottoms. Mikayla told Fred it was safe to look, he turned around and then wiggled his finger telling Mikayla to do the same thing. Mikayla did as she was told, she heard Fred get into bed before he gave her permission to turn around. Mikayla climbed into the bed on the opposite side, she laid on her right side with one left bent, the right straight with both of her arms curled into her chest. Mikayla felt a chill down her spine, she tried to ignore it but it was getting persistent to keep her awake.
Mikayla felt a gust of warm air coming from Fred, "Miaaaa?" Fred called dragging out the a, Mikayla turned to face him, "Yessss?" He smiled as Mikayla imitated him by dragging out the s. "Is it just me or is it really cold?" He asked staring into her ocean like orbs, "It's not just you. Do you want me to close the window?" She asked, Fred shook his head no, Mikayla gave him a weird look. "The fresh air is nice, reminds me of the times we'd sleep outside." He chuckled making Mikayla smile and blush at the fact that Fred enjoyed their outdoor slumber parties. "I could check if there's any blankets in the wardrobe." Mikayla suggested, Fred told her to check. She opened the top part of the wardrobe, standing on her tippy toes stretching to grab the extra blankets, she felt her tank top rise slightly the further she stretched, she pulled out what she thought was two blankets but realised it was only one. She told Fred there was only one, "We'll just have to share that one." He shrugged, Mikayla threw him over the blanket. "I'm taking the left side of the bed then." Mikayla argued, Fred laughed before moving over towards the right side of the bed giving Mikayla enough room to get in. Fred wraps the blanket around the both of them, their shoulders pressed against each other. Fred slid his arm under Mikayla before holding onto the left hand side of her waist, Mikayla returned to her usual sleeping position ravelling her legs in Fred's after he pulled her closer. Her left hand wrapped around his waist and her head took it's place in the crook of his neck. Mikayla could hear Fred's heart racing, she smiled to herself as she drifted to sleep, falling deeper and deeper with every beat of Fred's heart.
Mikayla felt the sun reflecting off her face as she woke up, she was still ravelled up with Fred, she couldn't help but smile before she slowly unwrapped herself. Mikayla got up, grabbed her clothes and toiletries before making her way into the bathroom for a shower. She felt as though she had just had the best sleep of her life, as she washed away Fred's touch from her body. Mikayla wore a red skater skirt with a black fleeced sweater and a pair of black converse. She straightened her hair and applied a tiny bit of makeup before exiting the bathroom. "Morning Freddie." Mikayla smiled looking at the red head who was grabbing a towel so he go shower, "Morning Mia." Fred responded with a smile, Mikayla told him she was going downstairs which he nodded before disappearing into the bathroom.
"Harry!" Mikayla spotted the dark haired boy standing on the steps, they shared a hug before joining Ron and Hermione downstairs, they stopped fighting once they saw their friends. "'MIONE!" "KAYLA!" The girls yelled before hugging each other tightly, rocking side to side. "Oh my god, you're so tanned." Hermione said stepping back and looking Mikayla up and down, who jokingly posed. The girls took a seat beside each other, they both spoke about their holidays. "Wait, I have your birthday present!" Hermione jumped up before running up stairs, Harry was soon running up the stairs behind her. When the two returned they carried gifts, Hermione's was perfectly wrapped while Harry's was a bit rough around the edges. Hermione got Mikayla a charm bracelet with moving pictures of her friends on the charms, Harry got her a broom repair kit and two chocolate frogs. "Thank you!" Mikayla cheered happily hugging her best friends, Mikayla runs upstairs to get the books she got in Egypt. "They're Secret Conversation books, if I write in mine it'll appear in your books and vice versa. I thought during study hall and class if we really need to say something it would be easier to use these instead of passing notes." Mikayla explained giving a book to each of them, Hermione smiled saying how useful they would be, Ron and Harry agreed with the girls. "We're going to Diagon Alley later." George informs the foursome, Mikayla thank him for telling them before Harry told them what happened during his summer.
