The main talk around the school consisted of theories of how Sirius Black got into Hogwarts, Hannah Abbott spent much of her next Herbology class, telling anyone who listen that black could turn into a flowering shrub. The Fat Lady's ripped canvas was replaced by Sir Cadogan and his fat grey pony. No one was happy about this, Sir Cadogan most of the time challenging people for duels and the rest of it changing passwords everyday to the most bizarre ridiculously complicated things.

Sir Cadogan however was the least of Mikayla's worries, she's done some research on her visions as they're not just the future but also the past. The name for it is a 'Aevus Seer' or an all time seer, people leave traces of where they been, and what they have done. Mikayla is able read these traces as well as seeing the future by touching someone/something and taking a sharp cold breath. The last known 'Aevus Seer' was Mikayla's Great Grandmother, Alina Carra.

The weather got worse as the first Quidditch match of the season drew nearer. The Gryffindor team, were training harder than ever before, under the watchful eye of Madam Hooch. The final training session before Saturday's match, Oliver Wood gave his team some unwelcome news. "We're not playing Slytherins!" he told them whilst anger spilled from him words, he explained how Flint came to see him and that they're playing Hufflepuffs instead. The Slytherin's excuse was that their seekers arm's still injured, Wood however believes it's because of the weather, they don't want to play. "There's nothing wrong with Malfoy's arm! He's faking it!" Harry spat furiously, "I know that, but we can't prove it." Wood spoke bitterly, "O'Brien isn't complaining about pain and she was way worse that Malfoy." Katie points out in frustration, "That little slime ball will come up with something worse for that very reason." Mikayla spoke angrily, everyone knew she was right though. They'll just have to come to terms with playing against Hufflepuff. "We've been practising all those moves assuming we're playing Slytherin and instead it's Hufflepuff, and their style's quite different. They've got a new captain and Seeker, Cedric Diggory-" Oliver was cut off by the three girls giggling at the name, "He's that tall, good-looking one, isn't he?" Alicia giggled, Mikayla nodded, "He's the strong and silent type." She told them, the other girls giggled again, while Fred makes a comment about Diggory being too thick to string a sentence together, to which Mikayla responded with a rolling of her eyes.

The day before the match was upon the Gryffindors, the wind howled angrily and the rain beated off the windows. The castle was quite dark because of the lack of natural light, the Slytherins were looking smug at their decision to switch match day. Mikayla walked up to the snakes after Draco made a comment about wishing his arm was in working order. Her faces was inches from Malfoy's, Avery was trying to prevent a fight from happening by trying to pull Mikayla away from her boyfriend but Mikayla didn't budge, "You are a vial boy, Malfoy. Buckbeak barely grazed you and you're acting like you're knocking on deaths door. Grow a pair, will you! I've seen babies whine less." She spat before straightening herself up, and storming away.

Mikayla walked into Defence Against the Dark Arts, taking a seat beside Ron and across from Harry, she looked at her watch, Hermione was late, even with the time turner, Mikayla always travel back to the perfect time so she's never late to class. They class was making small talk and giggling before an abrupt slam of the classroom door indicating someone has entered the room, Snape comes into view as all the blinds on the windows are shut, and the projector screen is pulled down into view. "Turn to page 394." Snape began walking towards the projector, he stops beside Harry who asks where Lupin was. Snape told him no valid information just that Lupin finds himself incapable of teaching. When Snape taps on the projector Mikayla reads the name of the chapter they're reading. "But Sir, we just learned about red caps and hinkypunks." Mikayla turned to face the Professor, "We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks." Hermione added causing Ron to ask Harry where did she come from and if he had seen her come in. "Now, which one of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?" Both Mikayla and Hermione's hands shot up, "No one? How disappointing." Mikayla decided to speak up without being called on, "Please, sir. An Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice. With each full moon when he transforms, he no longer remembers who he is." Mikayla glanced around Hermione allowing her to continue on from what she had said, "He'd kill his best friend if he crossed his path. Furthermore, the werewolf only responds to the call of his own kind." Once Hermione finished Malfoy let's out a howl, causing Crabbe to let out a fake laugh. "Thank you, Mr Malfoy. That is the second time you two have spoken out of turn. Are you two incapable of restraining yourself or do yous take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?" The girls lowered their hands, looked at the ground while tears filled their eyes at Snape's insult. You could tell how much the class hated Snape as everyone of them sent glares towards him apart from Draco and Pansy who Mikayla heard whisper, "Wittle ole wormy is gonna crying like the baby she is." This hurt Mikayla a lot but also gave her the strength not to cry, "You asked us a question and they knew the answer! Why ask if you don't want to be told?" Ron's voiced filled Mikayla's ears, she was stunned that Ron would speak that way to Snape. Mikayla took a sharp inhale, and a vision came into sight.

* She stood in the DADA classroom where Lupin and Harry were talking about what Harry heard once the dementors got close to him. He hears his parents dying over and over again and Mikayla could fell the sadness in the air. Lupin promised to teach Harry how to defend himself against dementors after Christmas because he would be going away for the break. Harry left the room before everything went black*

"MISS O'BRIEN!" Snape yelled, slapping a ruler on Mikayla's desk close to her hand, the blonde girl who was blinking away her last vision, "So-sor-orry Sir." Mikayla looked up at the Professor who gave her a weird look before strolling away from her, "Pay attention please."
