Friends Mingling

"What games do you have?" Ron asked excitedly, "Chess, Snap, Trivia... then there's the classic muggle games of truth or dare, or never have I ever." Mikayla listed out plenty of options for the trio to take part in. "Truth or Dare sounds fun, how do you play?" Ron asks, causing Hermione to do a detailed description of the game for 20 minutes. They all sat in a circle on the floor, so they'd be facing each other. When Hermione came to a close they all decided to play truth or dare. "I'll go first, Truth or Dare, Ron?" Hermione smiles mischievously, "Errh Dare?" Hermione took a minute to think, "Send a letter to Malfoy's inviting them to join us." She smiled wickedly, you could almost hear the clogs in Ron's brain working, "Fine." Ron borrowed Mikayla stationary, and wrote the letter;

''Dear Malfoy and Friends, we are currently playing a game of Truth or Dare in the O'Briens house. We wanted to know if you'd like to join us because we should at least be civil with one another for Avery and Mikayla's sake. Let us know ASAP if you'll be joining us. Regards Ron, Hermione and Mikayla'

Ron read the letter to the group for acceptance before Mikayla called Selene and ordered her to go to Malfoy Manor. "It's your turn, Ron, to ask someone." Hermione reminds him, "Mikayla, Truth or Dare?" Mikayla paused for a moment of thought, "Truth" she spoke confidently, "Do you have a crush on Fred?" Ron spoke clearly and quickly, Mikayla hesitated slightly, "Yes, I do but please don't tell him. I can't face rejection during this summer as well as my family." Mikayla admitted, she had been denying her crush on Fred for ages because he's Ron's brother and he's wayyy out of her league. "Just so you know, I'm ok with it so don't worry about me." Ron comforted Mikayla, she blushes at the go ahead view. " 'Mione, Truth or Dare?" Hermione smiles widely as she requests a dare, "I dare you to chug two bottles of butterbeer." Mikayla smiles widely before rushing to get 4 bottles, one for her and Ron each. She handed out the bottles before retaking her seat on the floor. "15 seconds a bottle." Mikayla smirked, before doing a 3 second countdown.

"Haha, Ron I dare you to lick the bottom of Mikayla's shoe." Hermione giggles, they've been playing for about an hour and the butter beers went straight to Hermione's head. "While I'm wearing them or can I take it off?" Mikayla questions, "No keep it on your foot." Hermione chuckled quietly, as Ron did it, Selene
flew in through the window with a letter containing the Malfoy wax seal.

"'Dear Kay, we'll be there! There's only four of us today because Pansy has gotten a bad cold. See you soon sis. Avery"'

Ron reads aloud, Peppy arrives at the mention of her name, "Hey Pep, change of plans Avery will be here with her friends in an hour. So you're cooking for 7 of us..." Mikayla continued to list out Avery's requests allow Hermione and Ron give orders for what they want and thanked the elf. "I'll set the table, Pep, don't worry about it." Peppy rushed back into the kitchen, "we have a muggle box if you want to put something on to past the time Hermione while I set the table." Mikayla spoke smoothly and with instructions. She got up leaving Hermione and Ron alone while she set the table for 7.

"Table is set and we've got 45 minutes of peace. What are we watching?" Mikayla took a seat beside Ron on the couch, "Eggheads." Hermione smiles, of course she'd pick a show about who's more intelligent by answering questions unprepared for. The three of them watch the show, Hermione shouts out the answers she knows whilst Ron and Mikayla chuckle at her. They found out a lot about muggle culture, their history, music, politics, sports, Art and a bit about their muggle box or television. Mikayla turned off the TV once the show ended as Avery and her friends would be there in 5 minutes, "Would you like another butter beer, we also have pumpkin juice, if you'd prefer that." Ron took a butter beer, Hermione decided she should have pumpkin juice since we'd be having dinner and Mikayla took a butter beer. Mikayla quickly threw the tarps back on the furniture before showing her guest into the dining room. About a minute later 4 slimy sooty Slytherins walked in, Mikayla stood up greeting them, Avery smiled and shook Mikayla's friends hands before everyone sat down at the table, Mikayla in between Ron and Hermione across from Draco, Crabbe and Goyle, Avery took her place at the head of the table, they sat there in an extremely uncomfortable silence, glancing at each other. Mikayla and Draco made eye contact, he winked at her causing her to quickly look at Avery. "How's your break been so far?" Mikayla asks trying to start small talk, she got mumbles in response. "I'm going to kill Hermione." Ron whispered him Mikayla's ear making her giggle slightly, "I'll help." She responded and he nodded. "After dinner, we're going to play Truth or Dare, right?" Draco asks mischievously, Mikayla nodded in response, "I have some good ones for Weasley and Granger." He spoke confidently while Ron sent daggers, flickering between Draco and Hermione. "Drinks?" Mikayla stood up, walking to the kitchen getting the drink order. "Is it ready?" Mikayla asked hopefully, the elf nods and begins walking out of the kitchen with the food. Mikayla soon flows Peppy out.

"That was delicious!" Ron beams with his hand on his stomach, Draco whispered something under his breath. Ron was about to jump him before Mikayla whispered to him not to give Draco the satisfaction of getting a rise out of him. He lowered himself looking at Hermione who had a worrying look spread across her face. "Right let's go to the living room and get comfortable." Avery claps and everyone stands up following the twins into the living room. "Let's try and prevent World War III." Mikayla whispered as they all sat in a circle on the ground, with blankets and cushions under them.
