♧Troye POV♧
"ARRRGH!" Axel punches the wall putting a dent in it as he goes completely ape shit crazy. "We've been going in circles for centuries and I'm not getting an younger."
"You know whining like a man child is not gonna help us locate what we need."
"Well I'm sorry that these green walls are repulsive to look at as well as confusing too, I mean who invents a moving maze?"
"Someone who wishes to keep people out and keep things in."
"You're getting brave Troye don't forget your place." He warns flashing his eyes red. "I'm no opposed smacking your ass red so don't push your luck."
"Maybe if you stop punching things and focus we might find a way out c'mon."
We start walking along the lit path carefully glancing to see if the walls open giving us a chance to enter before we get further lost inside this temple, whoever this man is must be highly skilled to be able to pull this off because I've never seen magic or science be fused together like this and I'm sort of impressed. Axel's castle is very advanced I mean the bloody thing can teleport to different locations which is incredible whenever we need to flee so I have an inkling that this Temple might be similar in the way things work or so I hope.
I can see Axel is getting stressed out with his fist shaking in anger and I just hope he can keep his cool until we find some sort of lead that helps us locate the lost Morningstar otherwise we might as well set up a new home in here.
"Just a bit random don't you think?" He says. "Taking Lucifer's mother and keeping her in here instead of using her to gain power or control Leonardo, seems like it was a missed opportunity to get what ultimate power."
"Maybe what he sought out wasn't power but something more personal why else pick Satan's mother? Could have had some unfinished business with Leonardo and used Angelique to get him back making him believe she was dead but all this time she was here. I just hope for Lucifer's sake that she's still alive or so help that man when he meets Lucifer's wrath." I've seen Lucifer angry but nothing compares when he is absolutely fuming.
"This person knew we'd come and had plenty of time to figure out what to do when we arrived and right now he's playing the passive game taunting us with his shifting walls deliberately confusing us and eventually when he's done playing he'll go ahead and show himself, until then we just wait till there's a sign."
The walls once more shift but this time open up to a staircase. Me and Axel look at one another and start going up the spiral staircase one step at a time hopefully it leads to something worthy of our time, when we reach the top we see a huge door isolated with nothing protecting it which is obviously a trap and we don't fall for it.
"What now do we call Lucifer and Salem?" I ask as Axel scouts the area looking all over the place not missing a single corner until he speaks.
"Nothing is out of place all seems normal and as for Lucifer I wouldn't want to give him false hope until we know this is exactly where we need to be." We approach the emerald door and wait outside to hear anything from within but all we get is silence so I knock loudly a few times but once again silence. "Time to open up." Axel tries opening the door but it's locked.
"Should've seem that coming."
"Time to find a bloody key to open this door then we alert the others."
A high pitch screech comes our way from downstairs alerting us, we run as fast as we can towards the scream hoping to get their in time to sort out the issue. When we arrive we expect to see a lady due to that screech being that high but instead we see two soldiers leaping onto one another avoiding a small spider, both are too panicked to notice our presence until Axel squishes the archnid under his boots finally stopping the two from screaming like bitches.
