I.

His touch burned her soft palm. His eyes could not leave hers. His eyes! She thought to herself lost in his deep glare. Do I know these eyes? She still thought because his glare seemed so familiar to her. Her stomach was churning. Her heart racing.

"No..." She said softly. "We haven't met before."

Her English accent resonating in his ears perfectly. Her voice was soft and soothing. He could not stray his eyes of her perfect face. Her eyes hypnotized him. He felt like he knew her, the woman in front of his eyes was not a stranger or she didn't feel like it. Diana offered him a smile and he smiled back.

"James..." He said introducing himself though Pam had done so.

"Diana..." She answered.

Her lips were perfect, her eyes were addictive and he loved her hair. Am I smelling lavender again? He thought trying to sniff unnoticing. He felt the urge to bury his nose in her hair and inhale deeply. How odd? The thought scared him, and he pulled his hand away gently and still he was pulled to do it. It seemed familiar to him to do so, to inhale her hair. Diana noticed his inked arms. Tattoos covered his arms, though she couldn't figure out all of them. She liked it and she never liked tattoos.

"Have you had breakfast?" Pam asked putting an end to their contemplation.

"Not yet." She said.

Pam handed her a plate and she sat with them at the table. James was sat right in front of her and Diana felt this urge to look at his face again. She was mesmerized with the blue of his eyes and when he offered her a smile, her heart skipped a beat leaving her uncomfortable. That smile was hideously gorgeous, and it smoothed her strangely. She didn't know him, but she knew him. She could not explain what she was feeling at that very instant. It dazzled her and made her feel uncomfortable though she felt so comfortable near him.

"Eggs?" Pam interrupted and she nodded.

"So...I've heard you worked at Aston Martin?" James asked trying to make conversation.

"Yes..." She confirmed.

"You know we are not exactly the same or that big, don't you?" He asked. Diana smiled feeling relaxed.

"I know."

"James!" Pam exclaimed. "You don't listen to him Diana...he is frustrating sometimes."

Diana laughed a little louder and he smiled gazing her discreetly. "And you don't listen to her because she loves to piss me off." He added.

Pam got up. "Well...I have to have a shower and put my bikini on and since you two know each other now, I'll leave you talking and be right back."

"I don't want to sound rude..." He excused himself. Talking to Pam was easy for she knew him perfectly and she knew when he was serious and when he was not, but Diana was talking to him for the first time.

"No... it's ok." Diana assured him. "I worked at Aston Martin yes, but I love your work and I know I will love to go through this experience. Maybe it's even more challenging."

"What do you mean?" He asked sipping on his coffee.

"Aston Martin is one of the most expensive cars in the world. They are built from scratch but once a series is out they are all the same. It's all automotive. Your work is art and that makes it all much more interesting."

James liked her kind comment of his work being art. He considered it. He drew these cars on his computer and then made them most with his hands. He had expert hands working with him, of course, but most of his work was hand crafted and that was pure art.
