I.

"I don't know, Di... so this was not just a one-night stand?" Emma asked.

Diana was in her room talking to Emma on Skype. As Pam was in the house, she didn't want her to hear details of that private conversation.

"I guess not..." Diana said looking straight at the camera as if she was able to look in Emma's eyes. "We have done it at the fucking beach..." She retorted with a smile on her lips. Then she giggled as the while scene passed fast before her eyes.

"And you don't seem to regret it not even a bit..." Emma laughed. "At the beach, Di? Really... what are you... a teenager?" Emma teased her.

Diana rolled her eyes. "It happened, alright? I don't know how... but it happened."

"That doesn't even seem like you! Who are you? And what has that American done with my friend?" Emma still teased laughing.

"Will you stop?" Diana said beginning to laugh. "I am having a hard time..."

Emma chuckled at her remark. "Excuse me... it seems like you might be having many things, but a hard time seems unlikely..."

"I feel weird, alright!" Diana tried to defend her cause.

"Either the guy is a super man in bed or..." Emma paused and looked straight at the camera. "... you might be having feelings for him... or both..." She giggled in the end, but Diana didn't do anything. She stayed silent and Emma watched her. "Are you?" She asked more serious.

"I like to be with him." She simply said but without a trace of a smile on her lips. Diana was serious.

"Di..." Emma called her, and Diana looked at the camera. "When we keep looking for someone the way you have been doing, it's because there's something more. I mean... having sex once with a person is one thing. Even with a friend, it might happen. Things got a little more heated once and you do it but then that's it. The desire is fulfilled and nothing else happens. If you keep coming back for more..."

"I don't want to think about that." She said firmly.

"Ok... don't. There's nothing wrong with that but some time you will have to think about it."

Diana looked away thoughtful and Emma gave her that moment of space, but then she spoke. "I don't want you to be sad... or step back..."

"What do you mean?"

"Step back from what is happening because you get scared. I know you... live the moment and whatever happens, happens."

"That's what I am doing." Diana smiled.

"Is he that good?" Emma teased to light up her mood a little.

Diana rolled her eyes. "It's not just that... I like other things in him. I like him in general. He is clumsy but in a funny way. At the same time, he's very down to earth. We relate in many things. He makes me laugh a lot. I feel so free when I am around him."

"Still..." Emma insisted. "He is that good?"

"God!" Diana laughed. "You never give up."

"You know me..." Emma laughed too.

"Yes." Diana finally admitted. "He is damn good."

"UH..." Emma retorted making a face that made Diana laugh. "My friend living the American dream..." That remark made both friends laugh hysterically.

"Listen, I have to go because we are going to see Maiden live today." Diana told her as she needed to get ready.

"Is that a date?" Emma asked.
