I.
Jack paced around the saloon of his suite like a wild animal in a cage. He wanted to yell at Constantine so much that moment. One of his hands shoved in his pocket while the other gripped on his cell strongly. He was raging that very moment. Every pore of his skin expelling hate and frustration. Even his temples were perspiring a little bit. His heart was racing of nervously and his stomach rumbled too.
"You never told me she was going to be here with him!" He exclaimed. "You told me she would be here but not with him. I looked like a stupid guy in front of her!" He spoke loudly. He was furious. He would punch Constantine's face if he could that moment.
"Calm yourself down!" Constantine almost ordered him on the other side. He was irritated too. He expected Jack to have some nerve and not to tumble down at the first steppingstone.
"She likes him!" Jack exclaimed almost yelling. He even took the cell off his ear and put it against his mouth so he could be heard perfectly well. Then he put it back on his ear. "I tried to sweet talk her and she cut me off right away to tell me she was seeing him."
"And?" Constantine said not understanding his point.
"And?" Jack frowned at his question. Either Constantine knew more than he did, or he was completely oblivious to what was happening in Diana's life. " And... it will be hard to win her back if she is in love with someone else." There he sat on the white couch and stared at the window. New York's lights right in front of his eyes giving him a marvelous view of the city at night. He almost calmed down watching that wonderful view. New York was definitely one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
"I don't want her with this guy!" Constantine exclaimed. "He is no suitable for her."
"He is a very well-known person here in the States, Constantine, it's not like he's a nobody." Jack said.
"Still... I don't think he's suitable for her. You are." He insisted.
Jack smiled. He was very fond of Diana's father." Thank you."
"I know who he is. I know he's a well-notorious car builder, but he is not suitable for my daughter. He has an ugly past. I unveiled his whole life. End this!" Constantine almost ordered.
"How? They seem really together, sir. It's doesn't seem like a fling or an affair. They are really together." Jack explained feeling his heart shatter as he said every letter of that sentence. He loved Diana for real.
"Jack... do I have to teach you everything?" Constantine asked starting to walk around his office and stopping by the window to see London under heavy rain. "Do you want Diana back or not?" Constantine challenged him.
"I do!" Jack almost yelled feeling irritated again.
"Then find a way to end this." He insisted.
"I'll think of something." Jack said.
"I know how you can start." Constantine told him with a wicked smile on his lips.
"I'm listening..." Jack got up and approached the window and stared outside.
"You are going to send her roses in the morning. You ask the reception to deliver it together with their breakfast and you write a love card. That will for sure hurt his feelings and leave him unbalanced." Constantine instructed. "He's an unstable person, if he feels shaken, he will give in."
Jack smiled. "I would not remember something like that."
"Of course not. Because you are letting your feelings clouding your vision." Constantine told him. "Do as I told you. Her room is 1950."
