After leaving the successful event, the group decided to stop by the club of the hotel for some drinks and the women wanted to dance. As they entered the luxurious entertainment space, they noticed how packed it was. The club at the Four Seasons was not a club that only the guests at the hotel frequented, people living in the city went there for some fun. Hits of the 80's were playing and there was a lot of people dancing. It was far from being a quiet place, but it was agreeable.

"It's packed!" Diana said in James's ear, who was holding her hand in his and trying to find some space in between people to encounter a cool spot where they could stay for a while.

"Indeed." He yelled keeping pushing her amongst strangers. Phil and Pam followed them, also escaping in between people.

Finally, at the end of the bar, they found an empty corner by the counter and two vacant stools. James stopped there and he pointed the vacant stool at Diana.

"Here, babe." He said and Diana sat. Pam took the other one and the men stood.

The bartender came to greet them good evening and to take care of their drinks. Diana asked for a dry Martini, Phil and James for beer and Pam asked for gin and tonic. They watched people dance while they sipped on their beverages. James was leaning against Diana's legs, caressing her knee with his fingers, while his other hand held the glass of beer. She crossed her arm over his neck, letting her hand fall on his chest and kissed his cheek. He smiled satisfied with her caress. He loved it when she was so spontaneous with him. She kissed him whenever and wherever she felt like. She caressed him whenever she wanted, and he loved all her genuine moves. Him, that had always been so afraid of public display of affection, found himself doing it all the time with her too. Everything with Diana seemed easy and natural and extremely right.

"I am going to dance." Pam said jumping of the stool and stopping a few steps ahead of them. She turned around and signaled Diana to join her.

"In a while." She yelled but she wasn't sure if Pam had heard her.

They saw her starting to move her hips to the sound of Walking on Sunshine. Diana also liked that song, it always put her in a good mood and for a fact, she was walking on sunshine at that point of her life. James had dissipated all dark clouds of her life.

She started watching the environment around her and then her eyes stopped at a table near them. "Isn't that Matt Damon?" She asked James with a joyful tone.

James looked at his right side and then back at her by the corner of his eye. His lips curved in a smile. "Should I be jealous?"

Diana laughed and tapped his chest lightly. "Dork... think I would trade you for that guy?"

"You sounded really happy..." He laughed. Diana knew he was only joking.

"I was just commenting with you!" She exclaimed. "I have never seen him in person!"

James grabbed her hand and took it to his lips to kiss it and then rested it back on his chest, letting his hand on top of hers. She bent over him to kiss his cheek time and time again, making him laugh and then, suddenly, his wonderful smile vanished, and his face turned dead cold. James was staring fixative at one point of the club and his eyes didn't even blink. Against her hand, she felt how he was breathing heavily. His humor had changed drastically. Diana raised her head to look at the same spot that got his full attention and there she found Jack staring back at him with the same flouting stare. She tensed and sat straight on the stool. Nothing could be worse than that. Only Jack to steal their peace at that very instant.

"James..." She called for his attention. He didn't react at first, he had his full attention on Jack. He didn't even move. He looked like a wax doll of his own figure. "James..." She said spanning him around to look at her. "Please... let's ignore him. Do you want to go away?" She asked, knowing Jack's presence caused him such anguish.
