The next morning, Diana entered the kitchen looking smiley, talking cheerfully with Pam, and looking amazing in a black dress. James was sipping on his coffee sat on the couch together with Phil and his eyes could not leave her since she had entered the place with Pam.

"Morning, guys." She greeted them with an amazing smile. Diana was such in a good mood.

James noticed the glitter in her eyes and smiled at her. They exchanged an intense glare before she turned around to grab a cup from the cupboard. She felt her face blush as she turned away and she was glad she did it so he couldn't notice it. The muscles of her legs stretched as she stood on the tip of her toes to grab the cup from the last shelf and James's eyes sucked that vision in. The world had stopped around him. She looked amazing. And he wanted to just go there, grab her by her waist and kiss her again and then run his hands up her legs...

"Jay?" Pam snapped her fingers in front of his eyes. "Are you alright?" She smiled knowing exactly why he was so lost; she was just playing with him.

James looked at her as if he had been yanked off a trance and Phil giggled. Diana looked back.

"Are you guys making fun of me?" She played.

"No... they are making fun of me." James told her with a soft smile on his lips. Their eyes locked again for brief instants and he had to control himself not to go there and just rip her off her feet.

"We can leave if you want..." Pam whispered at him and he just elbowed her.

"Quiet!" He mouthed with his intense frown and narrowed eyes, trying to menace her. "By the way..." He said loud and Diana turned around to look at him, already with a cup of coffee in her hands. She leaned against the counter facing the three people in front of her. "We need to meet in my office to talk about New York." He said.

"Me too?" Diana asked surprised.

"Yes." James nodded.

"I need to sort a few things first..." Pam said looking at him.

"Let's say, 11 am?" James proposed, so they could all get some work done before the meeting.

"Fine by me." Phil said getting up. "But I better be going now, to get some stuff done. I am having trouble with the new colors..."

"What about it?" James asked looking up at him.

"The company hasn't delivered it yet. They ran out of stock.."

"hum... ok. See if you can get it from somewhere else." James told him. "It's important to have these cars finished on time." Phil nodded hearing him and then he saw Diana put her cup in the sink.

"And I need to see some details of the contract they have sent me meanwhile." She said walking to the door. James got up too.

"Wait... I'll go with you." He said. "See you guys later." He said to the other two and left with Diana.

Pam remained seated and winked at Phil. "Let them go..." She mouthed him, and Phil stayed in the kitchen giving them space.

"He wanted her company..." Pam commented when they were alone and winked. Then then she got up too. "Let's go now pal..." She patted Phil's back.

"He's into her?" He commented as in a questioning tone.

"Yep." Pam said smiling. "You bet he is."

"And her? Do you think she's too?" Phil asked.

Pam laughed. "Yeah..." She said making a funny face. They both laughed. "She doesn't even talk about her ex anymore and she doesn't even notice it."
