Diana came back to her bedroom still startled with all the sudden rush in the morning. As she slammed the door behind her, tears came to her eyes. How could he just leave like that? How could he just turn his back on her and not listen? And how could Jack just be sending her text messages to her mobile? So many questions ran over her mind that moment. Jack... why on Earth was he trying to reach her now, now in that precise moment of her life. Diana gazed at her cell on the bed and grabbed it. She started writing without even reading what he had written, she didn't care at all. "Stop trying to reach me! Just stop!" She pressed sent and then deleted his message from her phone.

She remained sat on her bed for a few minutes just picturing James storming out as fast as he could, and a tear fell down her face. She felt so frustrated and powerless. She had no clue how he felt, and he didn't even let her explain, though she had nothing to explain. It had been a very unfortunate moment. They had such a great intimate night, that culminated with intense love on her bed and he stayed over, just to let it all be ruined by a simple text she was not even to blame for. James was someone she considered down to earth that she was having trouble to relate to his abrupt and tempested reaction.

"Moron!" She exclaimed all alone and cleaned her eyes refusing to cry.

Diana got up and went for a shower for she should go to work. She took her time under the warm water to let her senses calm down a bit. As she thought more about it and James's reaction, the more it infuriated her. So she stayed there, trying to calm down and find a tiny window in her mind where she could relate to his sudden reaction. Knowing she'd have to face him at work, she knew that was the wise thing to do, but feelings were at stake here and when feelings are involved it is hard to keep it cool.

She got dressed in grey jeans and a dark purple top. On her feet she put on black sandals that she had bought on CK Jeans just before she embarked on the adventure she was now living in San Francisco. She stopped by the kitchen to grab a banana that she ate while going to her car. She had acquired a black brand-new Mercedes van and she began to drove to work. That was the only way she knew by heart and could drive without GPS. She turned on the radio to hear the news to distract her a bit, for her mind was fevering as she approached the place where she was going to meet James again, but she was too nervous to allow distracting activities to affect her. While stopped on a red light, she taped her nails on the steering wheel and she played all the words she was going to tell him on her mind over and over again.

When her car entered the parking lot of the company and she set eyes on his motorcycle, her heart started to pound intensely. He had been home, of course, he went away without even taking a shower, nothing. So he had probably been there to have one and change.

"You jerk!" She muttered while looking at the motorcycle parked by her side and then she got out of her car and locked it. The van buzzed twice in loud beeps indicating that it was locked, and she went away.

James saw her park her car right beside his vehicle. Her blond hair swaying with a gust of wind, flying in the air. His heart raced seeing her figure, but he was so mad at her, that he just wanted to yell out loud at the top of his lungs. Then, she stopped walking and searched for something on her purse, he saw her grab her cell and read something. His stomach began to churn. She was reading a text and he started forming ideas in his mind. After, she started writing and he started to try to divert his imagination to another place. In his mind she was texting Jack. He groaned even if alone and then, when she was putting her phone back in her purse, she looked up and she stopped walking just gazing at him. For a few seconds they stared at each other and then he turned his back on the window and came back inside. He wanted to give her his back, that's why he did it.
