The humming continued and the scene changed. Now, we're in the forest. Like how we went there, the ballerinas of the swan lake were dancing all around. And the three of them were dancing and playing with the ballerinas. Even Ezmeralda was there, just watching.

After a while, the girl that looked exactly like me sneaked out and sat by the other side of the lake. The young Ace seems to notice her absence so he looked for her and found her by the lake. He sat beside her and smiled. I'm still not used to Ace smiling but it was nice sight.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito, Lia?"

Lia...?

The girl turned to Ace and gave a fake smile.

"Wala naman," she said. "Gusto ko lang magpahangin."

"Liar," Ace said and flicked her forehead.

"Aray! Masakit!" hinampas niya si Ace habang tinawanan lang siya nito.

"So...ano ngang problema ng aking prinsesa?" Ace asked. She shook her head and pout.

"Huwag mo nga akong tawagin niyan. Hindi naman ako prinsesa," she said.

"To me, you are." Ace smoothly said. The girl blushed but she tried to laugh it off. It baffles me how much she resembles me when I was younger.

"Ace," she called him. "Tingin mo isa akong prinsesa?"

"Of course. Anak ka ng kapitan natin. Itong Dagon ang kaharian mo. So in a way, you're a princess." Ace answered. So that village was Dagon. It looks so far from the ghost town today.

"Hindi naman yun ang ibig kong sabihin," she pursed her lips."I mean, tingin mo may prinsipe bang makakahanap sa akin? Tulad nila Snow White, ni Cinderella, ni Sleeping Beauty, lahat ng Disney Princesses!"

"Why do you need a prince to look for you when you already have one near you?" Ah...I get it. Ace must've liked her.

"Talaga? Sino?" Curious na tanong ni Lia. Ace just stared back at her then flicked her forehead once again.

"Slowpoke," he muttered.

"Aray! Masakit nga sabi!"

Pero hindi siya pinansin ni Ace at tumayo na lamang ito. He offered her hand on her. She glared at him at first but still accepted his hand.

"Careful, clumsy ka pa naman."

"Ace napakasama mo talaga sa akin, no?"

But Ace only laughed her remarks off. Bibitawan na sana siya ni Ace ng matipalok siya sa batuhan. Mabuti at nasalo pa rin siya nito.

"What did I told you?" Ace said as he shook her head. He lead her back to her seat and kneel infront of her.

He massaged her sprained ankle as she flinch in his every press. After a while, tears were streaming down her face.

"Does it still hurt?" Ace asked. Lia nodded as she sob. Ace continue to massage her ankle until it was better than before.

"Stop crying, you crybaby." Ace said as he wipe off her tears. Lia only pout and rolled her eyes on him.

"Kamay," sabi ni Lia at hiningi ang kamay ni Ace. Binigay naman ni Ace ang kamay niya. She pulled out something from her pocket and put it on his hand.

"Bracelet?" Ace said as he scan the accessory on his hand.
