At last, we're here. The sun shines bright in Castillo, highlighting the silhouettes of the towering temples and churches in the land. Its architecture is intricate with gold and white trimming. And most of the people around us are dressed in white. You can almost feel the holiness in the air.
"Wow, this place..." I heard Nathaniel say beside me. He's been scratching his arm this whole time since we came here.
"Are you okay?" I asked. His arm is turning red.
"I'm fine. Must be an allergic reaction," Agad niyang tinigil ang pagkakamot sa braso niya.

"Don't worry about it, it will go away." He reassured me and tried to hide his arm from me. But it's really red.

"Lacuna's Nest is just in the fourth avenue. Malapit sa The Great Lordship Of Lacuna Church." I'm using my more comfortable volume. Kaya tuloy-tuloy ako magsalita.
"Ah sa loob pa pala," I don't know how he's hearing me lalo na't nasa mas mataong lugar na kami. Tumango na lang ako at mauuna na sanang maglakad nang pigilan niya ako.
"B-Bakit?"
"Umm...can I hold onto you?" He said as shyly as I already am right now. What is he saying?! "Madali kasi ako mawala." He said rubbing the back of his neck and looking down to avert my gaze.
"U-Umm..." What do you usually say in situations like this? I never really read romance stories. I mean, it's not a big deal, right? We're just gonna walk across the city while holding hands, our fingers entertwined, and our palms touching. Not a big deal at all.
Inabot ko kay Nathaniel...ang dulo ng payong na hawak ko. "Y-You can hold o-onto that. P-Para di tayo magkah-hiwalay..."
"Thanks," he smiled brightly. Maybe this is what he meant all along. Yeah, what am I overthinking for?
We carried on with him holding onto the end of umbrella. Hindi naman siya questionable. During this time, maraming bumibisita sa Castillo. Well, lagi naman madaming tao sa Castillo dahil hindi naman bumababa ang demand sa mga holy artifacts pero madami talaga tao ngayon dahil malapit na ang tag-ulan. Maraming naghahanda lalo na mga supernatural creatures na nakatira sa kabundukan.
Finally nakarating na kami sa Lacuna's Nest. Ito ang orphanage na sponsored ng The Great Lordship of Lacuna Church. Dito ako iniwan ng mga magulang ko at dito ako lumaki.
"It's so...white?" Rinig kong sabi ni Nathaniel sa tabi ko. "Are all churches white?"
"Not necessarily," sagot ko. "Places of worship usually follows the deity it worships. Lacuna—the deity of peace's main color is white. They said his eyes are like the calm mist after a long battle." It feels nice to talk like this. I can speak as much as I want. Lumingon ako sa kaniya para tingnan kung narinig niya lahat ng sinabi ko.
