Watch Me Fall

Fire and water

Water was pouring down, like an artificial rain on my skin. My hair was soaked, and it was refreshing, feeling all of the water run off of me. It's warmth protecting me, and caressing me. 

One second I was there.

But then I closed my eyes. I was surrounded by only silence. It was dark ,and there was seemingly a void around me. 

Suddenly there was fire. I could see in my mind a fire I could control. It was a part of me, and I it. I could feel it's warmth just like the water before. 

I felt alright, I felt okay. My mind was almost blank, with no words in sight or mind.

Then I opened my eyes, to hear the rushing of water. The warmth did not leave me. I felt like maybe I can continue.
