"I've been interested in having a little." His words rang through her ears. A smile crept its way out looking at him happily while giving him another supportive hug.

"You have?! That's exciting! I get to be an Aunty again!" She squealed with excitement.

"Yeah," he chuckled softly feeling lighter without the burden of holding the secret back. "It's just Lain and Mallix seem so happy with Kaila, I mean he's willing to do anything for her. And you've always talked about wanting one and how much fun you'd have taking care of somebody else. It's kinda hard not to fall into the pool."

Nina was full of joy hearing Alex's news, but that was before she remembered why she was here in the first place. The smile she had spread from ear to ear was losing its appearance as she quietly asked, "and your wife didn't want that, did she?"

It had seemed like the progress she had made with Alex disappeared, he was once again lost in his own thoughts. Fighting the urge of tears once again. He shook his head confirming Nina's assumption.

"I've never actually met Kaila, but by the way Lain and Mallix talked about her it's just something I can't describe. And when I brought it up to her she...she told me..." taking in a deep breathe he looked down into his lap as he tried to calm himself before pressing on. "She called me horrible names, names that I'm too disgusted to even say out loud. We went at it for days at a time. I tried to explain that it was something we could enjoy but she just didn't want anything to do with it. Eventually I told her I'm not changing my mind, and she said the same. Now I'm in this situation."

Looking up from his lap, Alex could see the pain in Nina's eyes. Everyone could read her like an open book. Her eyes and face were always so expressive that anyone could always tell what was on her mind. "I'm sorry Alex."

"Don't be, I loved her with all my heart, but she broke it time and time again. I'll be fine." He half smiled looking at Nina with more life in his body than when she entered.

"Alright," she hugged him one last time before grabbing her crutches off the floor and stood up. "Breakfast is done, you should come out and join us. I'm sure everyone would be ecstatic to hear that you want to have a little girl of your own." She turned to face the door not seeing Alex sitting uncomfortably in his head looking out the window.

Before she could place her hand on the doorknob, she knew she had hit another vein when she didn't feel Alex's presence behind her. "Alex?" She turned watching his head slowly looked back at her. The way his eyes dulled and the secrecy behind them she tilted her head to the side contemplating what else was there to this story. Thinking back to what she said, she had a moment of awe realizing something. Leaning in ever so slightly she asked, "you didn't want a little girl did you? You wanted to have a little boy?"

Turning back to face the window, Alex nodded.

Nina stood up tall and straight with a flushed look to her face. She had never perceived Alex to be even the slightest bit interested in guys. Seeing the shame in his face by her reaction, Nina slapped herself out of it.

"There isn't anything wrong with wanting a little boy Alex. Or wanting a boyfriend. I mean Zander's gay but he doesn't let them bring him down ever." She comforted holding her hand out to him on the bed still.

She thought he would have been ready to come outside finally but the way he looked up at her and the hand expended to him, he was still holding back. "Alex?" She questioned wanting everything to be let out on the table.

"It's just ever since I got here...and...a-and I saw all you guys...it's just brought back memories of old times. But...but then I saw Z, and I r-remembered how silly and free spirited he is and how eager he was to do anything...I just..."

"...wanted him to be your little boy." She finished seeing him nod again not able to hide his smile thinking about him.

Taking her crutches and putting them against the wall, she sat back down on the bed to process everything. Everyone in their group knew about ageplay, but Zander was a special case. Everyone in the group knew everything and anything that had to do with ageplay, meanwhile Zander never really got the memo. Instead when they'd talk of having kids, he was always left to believe they were talking about having babies biologically. And the group of friends being overprotective of the boy at the time, let him believe that.

With the new information, the two sat clueless on the bed about what to say next. Both of their heads running through different scenarios.

Finally a knock on the door broke their silence, "is everything alright in there?" James asked.

Nina turned towards Alex looking for a response. "Yeah we're alright." She instinctively said still seeing the worry and dread look left on his face.

"Well breakfast is getting cold, you guys should come out to have some soon."

"We will babe, just give us a minute." They could hear James footsteps leaving the door. She grabbed her crutches and looked at Alex besides her. "Let's go have breakfast, and later on tonight the three of us can sit down and talk about this. This gives you the whole day to think about whether you really want this or not, and whatever your choice is, I'll be here to support you." She smiled softly holding her hand back out to him.

This time he accepted it, getting off the bed he smiled "thanks Nina" and hugged her one last time before they left his room.

Walking out into the kitchen, Mallix and James were busy still catching up with one another while Zander sat besides them shoving heaps of egg into his mouth.

"Slow down Z before you choke." Nina warned seeing him slow down to chew the food in his mouth before getting another forkful of it. Nina and Alex stood besides each other making their plates, making sure nobody was around she leaned into Alex's ear whispering, "you'll be good for him."

Alex chuckled lightly as Nina took her plate to the table and sat besides James. Meanwhile Alex finished making his, the only seat left open was the one besides Zander and in front of Nina. Taking a moment to build the courage, Alex sat down and quietly started eating his food.

All eyes were on him, everyone was still a little on edge from the drama going on but it didn't take long for them to all get into a normal conversation. Like most friends they were quick to forget their arguments and found one another's company more appealing.
