Finally after a constant struggle of going in and out of sleep, Kaila had managed to shut her eyes and turn off for a few hours before she heard someone loud besides her ear. "Wake up." He said annoyingly excited and hyper.

Too exhausted and still half asleep Kaila mumbled out a response before she felt a hand graze her arm. At first the touch was gentle and light but that soon turned into a small slap. "Wake up." The voice said again with more aggression, but she merely twitched at the slight discomfort before her lack of sleep overtook, letting her heavy eyelids fall back down.

Falling back into another sleep session Kaila could faintly make out an irritated sigh before she was met with a much harder smack to the arm. "Wake up!"

Shooting up this time she rubbed her sore arm with a tired fist as she blinked the remaining sleep away from her eyes.

"There she is." She saw Dr. Todd couched down a few away from her whilst clicking a timer in his hand. "Three minutes and twenty seven seconds." He stated before writing the numbers down on a sheet of paper on the clipboard in front of him. He clicked his tongue shaking his head as he did. "Tsk tsk tsk too long...we'll have to work on that. Such a shame and out of all the things you and I have to cover today, I thought this was the easiest. You've got to be up the first time your told, not the third. You should be up and ready to go in less than fifteen seconds."

Kaila was still trying to process everything that was happening as her brain was slowly getting back into gear. She stumbled a little as she stood up. Her head had a pounding headache and with every breathe she took she felt a pulse in her head. Whincing at the pain quietly she held her palm to her head trying to focus on what was going on in front of her.

As her focus became clearer and she could pay attention to the mumbles that were going on, she finally could make out what Dr. Todd was saying. "...agenda today is to first get you all ready for the day and out of those clothes, then we're going to run through a quick rundown on yesterday's lesson, and lastly we'll get into a few more requirements laid out for you." He read off his clipboard flipping through the pages.

Looking up and seeing Kaila with a raised eyebrow and a hand to her skull, the doctor exhaled sharply looking closely at the girl with intense eyes. "Did you hear what I said?"

Kaila nodded her head not really in the mood nor caring about what he was going on about. "Good then let's get started." He walked over and grabbed her sore arm tightly. The small girl whined trying to pull away but was met with another death glare and warning tone.

"Enough! We have only three days to get through a very long list of demands. And I will not let you come into my life and ruin the reputation I have built for myself of never having a patient unprepared. If anything my work and strategy has always proven to be the most superior among the staff working in this unit." He yanked at her arm again bringing her towards the now open glass door to her cage.

"Stop!" She continued to plead amongst it all feeling her headache becoming worst with every step she took.

Not paying any attention to the obviously uncomfortable girl, the doctor continued to drag her small body towards the door not caring about anything else. Her constant pleading and struggle only caused him to pull on her harder.

The migraine growing was becoming too overbearing as her legs started giving in from underneath her. She slowly sank down to the floor letting more of her body be hauled by this scrawny man who began having more trouble as her body fell limp.

"Kaila stand up right now." He demanded dropping her arm. The second it came in contact with her side a sharp pain pounded in her head.

"No..." she whispered out scared that if she said anything louder her voice would crack.

"What?" Dr. Todd leaned in unable to hear her.

"N-no!" She tried to shake her head of the pain it had then met his eyes. Just being able to brush the pain away she crossed her arms holding herself up with all the strength she could muster.

"I don't care what you think. You listen to me. I'm trying to do my job. Now quit your whining and lets go before I let you starve today and leave you in those rags." The anger in his voice was apparent but his level was low as a patrolling group of Hounds approached the duo from behind. The loud marching noise making their appearance known.

"Well I don't care what you think. YOU listen to me! I will not conform into what someone else wants me to be! I don't care about your reputation! And I don't care about the mess this creates for the Fendly regime!" Kaila stood up for herself. As terrible as her head felt she didn't want to give in to this way of life.

"Don't you raise your voice with me. You want to play tough then go ahead. But with all the power on my side, I don't see how you expect to win. Cause right now you only have two options. Get moving and stop moving those lips, or you can stay here in your glass prison with me doing your lessons. Either way we're going over more demands from your buyer. The only difference between the two is that you're fed and in better clothing in one of them."

He couched down to her eye level not batting an eye as he moved closely in front of her growling with each word. "Now whether you like it or not, you do not have the freedom to be your own person anymore. You are OWNED! And the faster you accept it the easier this all gets. Now make your choice."

She scrunched her face feeling his hot breathe against her cheek. Her fists tensed as she wanted nothing more than to get away from this maniac.

Her thoughts began to scatter all over the place as she considered each option. As horrible as starving herself was, she wasn't opposed to the idea if it meant she wouldn't satisfy his high expectation of her to obey him.
