Arriving back at the house, the second the two men walked in Zander and Nina were quick to interrogate the two of them about everything that just went down at the warehouse. The two of them couldn't even step two feet into the house before Nina's crutches blocked them against the door.

"So...?" Nina waved her head around, snaking for the two men to share the information they knew. She used her crutches much more effectively, they could tell she was already adapting to her new way of transportation as she backed away from them seeing their wide eyes.

"There wasn't much, but there's some new information we got." Alex smiled walking slightly further into the house placing his briefcase on the floor by the door before he walked over to the living room. Everyone else followed suit.

Mallix and Alex sat close together as Zander and Nina gathered in front of them, sitting on the coffee table looking like children waiting for a story to be told. Alex shared a concerned look with Mallix, both men knowing well Nina was still in the dark about the entire situation. The glare they sent one another was meant to find out who would have to be the unfortunate soul to bestow the heart aching news to the woman of the group.

Internally losing the battle Alex grunted as he looked towards their two friends staring with curious eyes waiting for the news, meanwhile, Mallix sat back waiting to watch the show before him. Alex knew Mallix was going to blow up over the shocking discovery, but Nina always tended to take things to the next level. Not only would she get in others faces, slapping them on the arm as they spoke, and mimicking them annoyingly but she would hold that grudge with her for a long while.

Alex sighed remembering the last time he withheld information from Nina and it came out suddenly, the woman ghosted him for nearly three months. 'Please don't be like that.' He hoped as his lips parted ready to explain it all for the second time of the night.

As he got into the broad details, both Zander and Nina were nodding their heads following his every word. But the second he began his talk of levels, more specifically what each level meant, Nina's face lit up like a bomb ready to explode.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN LAIN'S BEING TORTURED BY SOME LUNATICS!" She tried standing only to be reminded of her current situation. Not being phased, Alex didn't stop to explain, instead he persisted further. "THE HELL! KAILA'S BEING PREPPED TO BE SOLD?! WHY THE F*** DID NOBODY THINK TO TELL ME THIS SOONER?!"

She stood her body up onto her knees looking around the room at the three men surrounding her. Each one avoiding eye contact with her. "DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS?!" She asked Zander who had began scooting further away from her the second her mouth opened.

Not wanting to look her way he stood in defeat walking to the furtherest couch possible knowing she wouldn't follow as he nodded. If only he turned around to see the sight before him. Angrily looking towards Mallix who was slumped on the couch in front of her with his arms crossed and a small smirk as he watched Alex struggle to find words.

Grabbing her nearest crutch she slapped him, causing him to grunt as he bolted up holding his side in pain. "DID YOU KNOW TOO?!" She held her crutch back up in the air waiting for his response. The way she was positioned and how she held the crutch, Mallix was trapped. Sitting up properly he let out a quiet yes, bracing himself for an even harder slap than the last. Which caught him off guard as she slapped his shoulder roughly once and repeated all the way down his side til she hit his ankle. Needless to say Mallix was in pain, holding onto his entire side trying to take away some of the pain he endured.

"WHY WAS I THE ONLY ONE LEFT IN THE DARK ABOUT THIS?! THERE MY FRIENDS TOO! I DESERVED TO KNOW THIS STUFF JUST AS MUCH AS ANY OF YOU MEN!" She argued putting her crutch down in her lap for easy access.

"Hey! I didn't even know until the drive home!" Mallix defended looking pissed at his red arm he was holding dearly.

"WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE SURFER BOY?!" She turned around looking at Zander who was not paying attention anymore. He was off wandering in dreamland when Nina caught him off guard. He stumbled with his words before anything came out.

"Ugh...uh...Alex told me not to." He dished out throwing Alex under the bus. From in front of her, Nina could hear Alex mumble under his breathe.

She shot back towards the man in the sharp suit and muddy shoes, looking him coldly in the eyes. "WHY'D YOU TELL HIM NOT TO TELL ME?!"

Throwing his hands up, "I knew you were going to freak out and I didn't want you to worry until I had more information I could give you! I didn't even know who was where before the meeting earlier! You would've been pissed if I showed up without knowing it all!"

"You would've been pissed if I showed up without knowing it all," she deepened her voice and annoyingly did her worst impression of Alex. "I'M PISSED ABOUT IT ANYWAYS! YOU DELIBERATELY KEPT SOMETHING SO IMPORTANT FROM ME! SOMETHING ABOUT MY BEST FRIENDS! I DON'T CARE THAT YOU DIDN'T HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION, I WOULD RATHER KNOW A GENERAL IDEA THAN BEING COMPLETELY LOST IN THE DARK!"

"Alright look I'm sorry! I just figured you wouldn't have wanted to! Do you want to know what else we found out at the meeting or not?! It wasn't even that big of a deal, you know now! That's the main point!" Alex argued which only irritated Nina more. The fact that he was making the whole situation less than what it was, is what made her blow up.

Having a huge rush of adrenaline shoot through her body, she stood up not caring about the excruciating pain shooting through her leg at this point slapping Alex across the face with her bare hand. After exchanging many more foul words Nina yanked her crutches into her arms and stormed off into her room.

"Well that went absolutely...terrible." Mallix sat looking wide eye as she disappeared down the hall. Meanwhile Zander was still caught up in the slap that rang in his ears, and the red handprint imprinted on Alex's cheek.
