Chapter 35: Little Boy

Asides from expecting a full explosion of emotion, Alex was anticipating Zander to disagree and hate him for asking such an intimate question. Needless to say when the younger man showed a small grin on half of his mouth quickly all Alex's thoughts switched.

'He did it! He did it! He wants to be closer! I get this hunk of a man! Finally!' Zander celebrated in his mind.

"I...I think that'd be great." He calmly admitted joining Alex in the blush filled club. Nina was thrown back in awe as the two men looked at one another. The way Zander blinked his eyes and was hot at the touch, it was clear the feelings Alex had were mutual.

"Really?!" Alex's voice was three pitches higher than normal and was close to a non-distinguishable squeal.

"Mhm" Zander nodded excitedly trying not to scream out loud in joy as he threw the bedsheet out of his fists.

"Well go on then, give each other a hug! Do I have to do all the hard work." Nina laughed pushing them closer to one another. Slowly their bodies were entwined and Nina couldn't have felt prouder and happier for them.

"I'll leave and let you guys discuss things through." She stood up with her crutches and left the room. Making sure to shut the door behind her. She finally returned to James in the living room where he welcomed her back with open arms, once she was settled they sat enjoying one another's company.

Left in the presence of one another, Alex and Zander we're still holding on tightly to one another. While Nina had explained to Zander the concept behind Alex's request, she had forgotten a crucial part. Explaining what this all entailed.

Lifting their heads head off one another's shoulder, Zander locked eyes with Alex, both happy to see one another's bright smile. "You really want to do this Z?" Alex ensured.

"Yeah, I like the idea of this. Why not give it a try." He admitted with full confidence.

Alex had never felt more light rush through his entire body. He was a combination of excited and eager. He opened his arms once again for the chance to embrace Zander again, when he leant in to Alex, he securely wrapped his arms around his back holding him in place. For the next few hours they stayed that way while Alex had to go and explain to Zander what being his little boy would mean for them.

"What does this mean I have to do?" Zander asked.

"Just keep being the way you are, Z. Leave the rest of it to me. And if you don't like something or want me to stop then just say the word and I'll stop everything. If it'll make you more comfortable, we can try some stuff out tomorrow. For tonight we can just stay like this and talk more about this if you'd like." Alex said beginning to slowly rock Zander in his arms as he ran his hand up and down his back.

"I like the sound of that." He said as he moved out of Alex's arms. Continuing further into explaining more about what they would be doing together, Alex began ranting on about many aspects of Kaila's life.

Hearing all the details of Alex describing the treatment Kaila got from both Lain and Mallix, Zander couldn't have been more excited. They would have stayed on the bed talking more about what it all meant if it wasn't for James yelling throughout the house that dinner was served.

"You ready?" Alex stood off the bed with his hand extended.

Nodding his head, Zander grabbed his offer and stood up. "About this. And everything. I'm ready." He said.

Alex smiled and opened his bedroom door as he asked, "Did you want to tell everyone or keep this to ourselves?" Alex asked eager to spread the news to the rest of the group.

"Nina knows about this already, and if what she said was true about you guys leaving me as the only person in the group who didn't know about this then I don't see the problem! Let's tell them!" Zander happily jumped softly tugged on Alex's arm as he dragged him over to the door.

"Alright then." They walked out of the room surprising the other men of the house when they showed up hand in hand. Both Mallix and James cocked their eyebrows watching as they got over to the food. Everything about them appeared normal, the only aspect that raised suspicion in any way was the extra effort Alex put forth to help Zander. As they were making their servings, Alex had grabbed food from the plethora James and Nina had created together and places them down on Zander's plate. "Go sit down." He told him while beginning to make his own plate.

Nodding Zander took his food back to the table and sat across from one of the brothers who were looking at him with a tilted head.

"Uh, everything ok?" Mallix asked Zander who had began scarfing down his food as usual.

With a mouthful of food, Zander nodded his head continuing to shove food into his mouth. Nina saw this once again, but instead of saying something like last time—she waited. She waited for Alex to return with his food and deal with this one.

After a few seconds of warming up his food, Alex looked back at the table. He sat down and looked over to Zander seeing him smiling with chipmunk cheeks and food all in between his teeth. "Slow down, you're going to choke if you keep up with it. Your foods not going to run off your plate. Chew what's in your mouth first and then have another bite." He grabbed the fork from Zander's hand and placed it down on the table. "Grab it when everything in your mouth is gone."

Chewing her food eagerly it wasn't long before his mouth was empty and he was back at it for placing more food in his mouth. Nina smiled knowing Alex had everything under control now. However, both Mallix and James were still in shock to watch everything unfold.

"Um...so can somebody tell me what's going on?" James asked not being able to withhold his curiosity any further. And by the look of his brother he was thinking the exact same thing.

Alex looked up at them with a smirky look and glanced over to Zander waiting for some kind of confirmation. But rather than nodding his head, Zander couldn't hold back his own excitement and went on to rant to the two men about everything.
