Kaila's eyes bulged. 'Actual treatment now? What could it possibly be?' She thought making sure to keep very still as Lauren carried her back into their department. The white walls were staring down at her as the hallway seemed to get narrower as she felt her heart beating in her chest.

Every nurse, patient, doctor, and Hound all watched closely as Lauren carried her through the labyrinth. Kaila was sure she had seen everything this department had to offer during her time of freedom. She remembered wandering around endlessly getting lost through the halls. Needless to say, despite the fact that she was mute for the time being, Kaila was speechless when Lauren took her to a singular door that was nearly identical to the wall besides it. Kaila could only see the outline of a door when they got close to it.

Lauren grabbed an ID badge from out of her back pocket as she balanced Kaila on the other hand. Placing it flat against the center of the door, an electronic wave of color blinked in ripples before the door split in half opening down the middle.

Kaila was internally screaming when she saw what was inside. Lauren walked in allowing Kaila easier access to see rows of glass cages. Many of them were filled with men and women all in little clothing. Everyone had a nude color bottom that protected them, while women also had a matching colored top piece to shield their chest. Kaila noticed each of the patients were accompanied by a doctor.

"This is where we'll be preparing you for your release." Lauren said not looking down. Instead she just continued walking slowly down the long row of patients. Kaila tried to wiggle out of Lauren's hold but she was so physically and emotionally exhausted that all she did was force Lauren to hold her tighter.

"As you may know, you've been assigned to my department which specialized in human auctions. So, you and the other patients have been put on for sale." She glared down at Kaila. "With that in mind, you have to go through a process all of our patients go through before we distribute them to their buyers." Kaila felt disgusted hearing Lauren speak.

Lauren stopped in the center of the row, spinning Kaila around slowly to view the different patients. "Each of your buyers have given us personal requests on how they want their patient to behave. We take those request and train you to abide by them. Each of our treatment plans are different, and I must say Kay your buyer is very specific with her needs."

Hearing reality hitting her Kaila felt tears forming in her eyes. There was a tornado of emotions messing up Kaila's mind. She knew what the outcome of this experience was, but actively hearing and seeing some action relating to it scared her. She wasn't ready. She was not about to learn somebody else's rules.

Taking this moment to closely examine the cages, Kaila noticed each of the patients doing horrible tasks with metal collars around their necks. She was wide eyed watching as a woman in front of her was forced to crawl on all fours in endless circles in the glass cage, as the doctor followed directly behind her writing down notes onto a clipboard at the same time.

Looking besides the woman, Kaila saw a man of small stature on his knees with his hands behind his head. She wasn't able to hear the doctor as all the cages were sound proof, but after watching the doctors mouth move she watched mortified as the patient resisted a change in position. The simple defiance caused the doctor to shake his head, grabbing a small controller out of his lab coat pocket he pressed a button and before Kaila knew it the man was on the floor convulsing in pain.

She shut her eyes not able to watch anymore. Her heart was beginning to sink when Lauren began to walk again. Lauren carried Kaila to an empty glass cage. Using the same ID badge, Lauren scanned it and the door flung open. "This is where you'll be staying until we release you. You'll be accompanied by Dr. Todd. He knows about everything that will be required of you from your buyer, and will be training you to learn those rules within the next few days." Lauren opened the glass door and set Kaila down on the concrete floor. The small girl whined and cringed with the pain from being placed rather hard onto the floor sent a small wave of shivers through her body.

There was nothing else in the room with them. Lauren bent down in front of Kaila using her finger to guide the small girls face to meet hers. "I meant what I said to you earlier. If you can listen for a change, than this will all go by smoothly and you won't have to deal with so much pain. Dr. Todd already knows that you've been through the gas chamber. And since this goes against some of your training that we need to do, he's going to...well...speed up your recovery time to put it lightly."

Getting even closer down to Kaila's face, Lauren lowly said, "I want you to remember that he reports to me still. And if I hear you haven't learned your lesson still, then I'll come back here to pay you a personal visit. We're already cutting close to time as it is since you decided to waste nearly two days when you ran away. The faster you learn everything the better." She stood up when they heard a knock on the glass door.

Outside they both saw a young gentleman with a white lab coat on with a clipboard and a small hazard container in his hands. Lauren waved him in, "You better be good to Dr. Todd Kaila I mean it."

Turning away from Kaila she looked at him sternly, "I expect her to be ready by the deadline."

He smiled softly at her, "of course. When have I ever been late with a patient Ms. Fendly. If anything the time crunch may complicate some things, but hey, I love a good challenge." He cockily chuckled.

"Good. I'll leave you to it then." Lauren looked back at Kaila who was still sat in the same position she left her. Without another word Lauren walked out of the cage, sealing the door behind her leaving Kaila all alone with Dr. Todd.

Kaila felt sick to her stomach, she wanted nothing more than to get out of this horrible box. The creepy way he grinned at her made her feel worried. He walked at a slow pace and bent down in front of Kaila.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you Kaila. I'm sure Ms. Fendly already filled you in with what I'm going to be doing for the next few days." Kaila felt obliged to nod in agreement.

"Oh, perfect then. Makes my job easier. But first things first, we've got to get rid of all the quiet and painful gas in your system." He reached down into one of his lab coats pockets, pulling out a large syringe.
