The game had ended. Josh got to play again, and they won. He seemed happier, but I could tell there was still something on his mind. "You guys want to come over to our apartment? I have to talk to Josh, but would you guys want to?" I asked.
"Maybe tomorrow? He seems irritated." Ryan points out. "Yeah, that may be the best bet." Laura nods as the team steps off the field. "Sounds good." I smiled before making my way down the bleachers and towards the locker room. I stood outside and waited for Joshua.
He was towards the last to leave.
"Hey, babe. You did amazing out there." I smiled as I saw him. He nods before pulling me into a rough hug. "What's wrong?" I gently asked. "Can we go home? I'll explain at home." He softly says as he pulls away, brushing my hair to the side with his fingers so it was tucked behind my ear.
"Yeah, let's get going." I kissed him briefly before leading him to his car.

As Josh got his equipment from the car, I got a bubble bath ready for him to relax, and I even tossed in some soft music. He seemed so irritated, and I just wanted to help him.
"Baby?" I heard him call out. Deciding the bath was ready, I shut the water off and made my way to the tall boy in our living room.
"Hey, I got a surprise for you." I smiled at his as I wrapped my arms around his torso. He leans down and pressed a soft kiss on my head. "What is it?" He asked as he twirled a piece of my hair around his finger. "Follow me." I smiled as I pulled away and gently grabbed his hand. He sends me a soft smile as I lead him to our bathroom. Opening the door, I let him see what I did for him.
"Baby, you didn't have to do this." Josh gently smiles at me. "You seemed stressed, so I wanted to help you relax." I told him as I helped him pull his jersey off. "Join me?" He softly asks with soft eyes. Nodding, I got closed the door behind us and got undressed. Josh gets in first, and I sit down in front of him with my back pressed against his chest. Josh rests his arms around my waist as I feel him relax behind me. "What's on your mind, bubba?" I asked as I played with the bubbles.
"I got in an argument with Brady over something a couple days ago, and now we're not the same as we used to be. He didn't talk to me throughout the game, and he wouldn't pass the ball to me, even if I was open. He jeopardized the game just to show me that he doesn't care." Josh carefully says as he raises his hand and intertwined it with mine.
"I'm sure you guys with get over this. You and Brady have been best friends for a long time now, I'm sure he wouldn't throw that out the window because of a silly argument. What was the argument about anyways?" I asked as I looked up at his features. "He thinks we're moving too fast. Which, we kind of are, but all relationships are different." Josh kisses my shoulder.
"Yeah." I looked down at our hands. "I love you." Josh says, bringing my hand to his lips and pressing a soft kiss against it.
"I love you too." I smiled before leaning my head against his shoulder.

After our bath, Josh and I decided to watch some movies.
"We should built a fort!" Josh exclaims as he looked in the hallway closet. "Let's do it." I giggled as I got our pillows from our bedroom. "I'll build it, you make some snacks for our movies." Josh beams down at me. Nodding, I set the pillows down and made my way to the kitchen to look for some snacks.
I got some twizzlers, popcorn, candy, and some sodas. Popping the popcorn in the microwave, I sat on the counter and waited for it. I heard some rustling in the living room, but left it alone since I heard Josh's giggles as he played soft music.
"We should use the fireplace!" Josh pops his head into the kitchen. I nodded in return, making him chuckle and make his way back to the fort. God, he was adorable. The popcorn began to show signs it was finished, so I grabbed a bowl and took it out of the microwave before dumping it into the bowl.
Grabbing everything, I made my way to the living room to see a fort with soft light coming from it. It looks so romantic, the fire only made it ten times better.
"This is beautiful." I smiled as I neared Josh. He excitedly nods and helps me carry everything to the fort. He leads me to the opening of the fort and moves so I can look inside.
Fairy lights were draped around the fort, and there was soft pillows on top of a couple blankets. "I love it." I smiled before crawling inside.
Josh follows me in and sits down beside me, placing the snacks behind us. He pulls his shirt over his shoulders and places it beside his pillow before laying back onto the pillow. Smiling, I leaned down and laid on his chest as he began to scroll through Netflix.

We had watched three movies already, and most of our snacks were gone. Josh picked the last one, so I chose the next one. "Can we watch a rom-com?" I asked. "I don't mind what we watch." He says before pressing a kiss on my head. Nodding, I chose Another Cinderella Story with Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley.
As we watched the movie, I started to get distracted by the way Josh's arm was flexed protectively around me. Tracing soft figures on his skin, I pressed a kiss on his chest. Taking the hint, Josh rolled us over so he was hovering over me. Smirking, he leaned down and began kissing my neck. Biting my lip, I reached up and played with his hair.
After a few minutes, Josh pulled away and looked into my eyes for confirmation. To assure him, I leaned up and kissed him deeply.
