As Grace ran off to find her mom, my mom and Angel's mom exited the room. "Is she okay?" I asked as they neared. I stood up and got ready to make sure my girl was fine, but they stopped me.
"She's fine, just a little overwhelmed. She wasn't expecting everyone to be here." Her mom gently smiled. "Oh, okay." I softly said before sitting back down on the couch reluctantly. I wanted to make sure Angel was completely okay, because it breaks my heart to see her upset.
After minutes of me biting my nails, Angel exited the room. I immediately stood up and returned to her side. "You okay?" I asked. She hesitates, but looks into my eyes.
"I'm okay, I promise." Angel weakly smiles. I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked down at her. "Baby, I can tell your upset. Just please tell me what's wrong." I pleaded. "I told you, there's nothing wrong. Just have a lot on my mind about the school year." Angel says, starting to get irritated. Sighing, I kissed her cheek and returned to the couch. I don't get why she can't tell me what's on her mind, I've told her multiple times that she can tell me anything and yet she still doesn't.

Angel returned when the ball started to drop. I was still irritated she wouldn't tell me what's wrong, but I couldn't resist feeling her body against mine.
"3...2...1!"
Angel leaned in and pressed a passionate kiss on my lips, telling me everything was okay. I smiled as I reached up and placed my hand on her cheek.
"I love you." She whispers as we pulled away. "I love you too." I smiled as I brushed hair out of her face.
After a few more minutes of partying, we decided to head home for the night. The ride home was uneventful, and we conked out as soon as we got home.
Angel peacefully slept beside me, but I couldn't stop thinking about how strange she acted today. God, I wish she would tell me, it hurts seeing her this way.

-A-Josh softly snored next to me as I scrolled through Instagram while texting Hailey and Iris. I asked them to hang out so we could talk, so that's what my plan for today was.
After getting dressed, I kissed Josh's forehead and got ready to leave.
"Where you going?" A soft voice asked I went to open the front door. "I'm going to hang out with Hailey and Iris for a bit." I answered as I turned around to see a sleepy Josh rubbing his eyes. He looked like a little kid, and it was the cutest thing ever.
"Have fun, I love you." Josh sleepily smiles as he trudged over to me before pressing a kiss against my lips. "I love you, too." I beamed as we pulled away.

"I don't know, guys. What if I'm not? I want to tell him so bad, but what if it's a false alarm and I'm not actually pregnant." I spoke as I stirred my sweet tea.
"He would understand. It's Josh we're talking about, he once said I'm sorry to a table he accidentally ran into. And to think he was the bad boy!" Iris laughs.
I laughed at the memory. "Yeah, he's not much of a bad boy." I chuckled before taking a sip of the tea.
"In all seriousness, we're happy for you two. You guys deserve it." Hailey agrees as she eats a fry. "Thanks, Hailey." I smiled before continuing to eat.
"So, if I am, how should I tell him?" I asked. We all thought for a few moments.
"Isn't your two year anniversary coming up?" Iris asks. "Too far away. I would be like 5 months pregnant by then." I shrugged. She sighs as she tries to help me.
"I don't know, but I texted my mom and Laura and we scheduled an appointment to see tomorrow morning." I told them.
"That's exciting!" Hailey exclaimed, making me smile. "Is it bad I'm nervous for the appointment?" I questioned.
"Not at all, it's your first time, after all." Hailey says.

I got home to see a sleeping Josh sprawled out on the couch. Smiling, I dropped my jacket off on the island before crawling into his side. He stirs in his sleep and pulls me into his in his sleep. Smiling, I tucked my head into his neck and attempted to take a nap myself.
I felt so safe in his grasp, like nothing could hurt me.
But my thoughts wouldn't let me sleep. I was terrified on how he would react if I was in fact pregnant. Sure, we were planning on having a baby of our own, but after high school. We still had four months left of senior year.

After our nap, we made dinner and relaxed with a movie. Once again, I couldn't focus on the movie. This isn't healthy, I shouldn't be stressing at all.
"You haven't been yourself lately." Josh pointed out of the blue.
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Ever since last night you've been acting different. Is something going on?" He asks, turning his attention to me. I looked down at my hands in my lap.
"Just talk to me, please." Josh pleads. I didn't want to get his hopes up, and I actually turn out to not be pregnant.
"Why are you hiding shit from me?" He asks, his voice raising. "I'm not hiding anything!" I shot back. Which technically, I wasn't.
"Well you're obviously not telling me something, so what the hell is it? I'm sick and tired of feeling like your shutting me out!" Josh exclaims. Huffing, I stood up and started to walk towards the kitchen. Hopefully, he would drop this and wouldn't follow me.
I was wrong. "Oh so now you're giving me the silent treatment?" He asks. "I can't just sit by and watch you suffer with whatever this is, but I can't do that because you won't fucking tell me!" Josh continues.
"Leave. Get out." I abruptly turned around, making his stumble. "You're making me leave? Because you won't tell me the truth?" He furrows his eyes.
"Leave me alone!" I say as I tried not to cry.
Josh didn't budge, instead he stared down at me. His chest heaved up and down as he balled his fists up by his side.
"Leave!" I cried out, letting the tears fall. He rolls his eyes before pushing himself away from me and storming towards the door.
The door slammed behind me, immediately letting me cry to my heart's desire.
When I finally recollected myself, it was 11 pm. We fought around 8. Picking up my phone, I placed my hand on my stomach and waited for my call to be answered.
"Hello?" Laura answers. "Is Josh there with you?" I asked. I wanted to make sure he was safe, and not on the streets.
"Yeah, he's asleep on my lap right now." She answers. I let out a sigh of relief as I paced through the apartment.
"Thank you, I just wanted to make sure he was safe." I sighed. Running my hand through my hair, I tried to relax. "I'll let you go so you can get some sleep. Goodnight." I softly said. "Goodnight, Angel. Sleep well." She says. "You too." I weakly said before letting her go.
Crawling into bed, I curled into Josh's side and inhaled his familiar scent. For the first time in years, I cried myself to sleep.
