Chapter 53

It was already lunch time when Dawn arrived at the ADV building. Her employees greeted her as soon as she entered but she only smiled at them as a response.

She went inside the elevator, when one of the employee asked her. "Good Afternoon Ms. Dawn, sa office niyo po ba kayo?"

Dawn remained silent as if she haven't heard anything. So the employee just pushed the button where her office was located.

When it opened she walked directly to her office but got surprised because Rowell was waiting for her inside. He was holding a bouquet of flowers.

"For you." Rowell said and handed her the flowers and gave her a hugged. "Did you eat lunch? Halika kain tayo."

"Thank you, hindi ka na dapat nag abala pa. Baka may meeting ka pa o trabahong gagawin ngayon. You can leave now." Dawn replied and sat on her swivel chair and started checking the papers on her table.

"Dawn mag usap tayo. Kahit hindi mo sabihin alam 'kong hindi tayo okay." He said when he sat on a chair in front of her table but Dawn remained silent. "Is this about last night? I'm sorry kung hindi kita nasamahan at naasikaso."

"Sa pangalawang pagkakataon Rowell, wala ka na naman sa oras na kailangan kita. Hindi ka naman ganyan dati ah."

"Kaya nga nandito ako. I'm sorry."

"Rowell ayoko sanang isipin 'to pero puro ka na trabaho. Parang nakakalimutan mo na ako."

"Dawn hindi, sinabi ko na sayo diba para sa atin ito kaya ko ito ginagawa."

"Rowell iniintindi ko naman lagi eh, pero trabaho ka ng trabaho. Sasabihin mo para sa atin yan, pero sa kakatrabaho mo nakakalimutan mo ng mag bigay ng oras sa akin. Paano kung nawala ako sayo? Anong silbi nyang pinag papaguran mong trabaho? Hindi mo ba naisip man lang yun?"

"Dawn I'm sorry kung ganyan ang naiisip mo. Patawarin mo ako please."

The tears that Dawn was containing started to fall. "Rowell alam mo bang kailangang kailangan kita kahapon. Pero..."

"Dawn I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." He stood up and hugged her while kneeling.

"Kung nandun ka edi sana hindi ko na naramdaman na..."

"Na ano Dawn?" Rowell nervously asked her. But Dawn didn't answer him. "Na ano Dawn?"

"Please iwan mo muna ako." She said and withdrew from his hug.

"Dawn, ano nga?"

"Rowell iwan mo muna ako, please."

"Pero Dawn..."

"Please."

Even though Rowell doesn't want to leave he still did and leaved Dawn inside.

Time goes by so fast and it was already 10:30 pm. Ton went to the bar where he and Richard used to go. He was walking towards their private seat when someone caught his attention.

"Dawn, anong ginagawa mo dito?" He asked and sat beside her.

She looked at him first before she says anything, "Tonn hi, pleaseee joinn mee."

"Here's your another drink ma'am." The bartender said and place her liquor on the counter top.

"Excuse me, pang ilan na niya yan?" Ton asked.

"8 sir." The bartender answered.

"Oh okay." He said and drink the liquor. "Lasing ka na naman Dawn, halika na."

"Heyy that'ss minee!"

"Tama na lasing ka na eh."

Ton wanted her to go home but she refused to go. Ton tried to call Richard but he's not answering, he even tried to call Alice but her phone was off, then he just texted them. And ended up staying with her.

Richard was sitting on the couch with Andy while watching a movie, when his phone rang again. He looked at it and saw Ton was calling him.

"Bakit ayaw mong sagutin?" Andy asked him.

"I'm sure tungkol sa trabaho yan, makakapag hintay naman yan hanggang bukas." He said as an excuse because he already saw Ton's message informing him that he was with Dawn.

"Sabagay late nadin masyado Rich, ayaw mo pa ba matulog?"

"Maya maya na siguro. Hindi pa kasi ako inaantok. Pero ikaw kung gusto mo okay lang, mauna ka na sa kwarto."

"Oo inaantok na nga ako eh. Wag ka masyadong mag puyat ha. Sumunod ka kaagad sa taas."

"Yes. Good night Andy."

"Good night Rich." She said and kissed him before she went upstairs.

When Andy head upstairs, he grabbed his phone and went to their garden. He immediately called Ton but now he's the one who's not answering.

"Yangg kassing bestt friendd mmo, hindi marunongg magg hintay yan." Dawn hardly said as the alcohol filled her body. Ton was about to say something when Dawn stopped him using her finger. "Shhh. Alamm kongg ipaggtatanggol mo siyaa."

"Hinintay ka nya Dawn." Ton said and removed her fingers.

Dawn laughed to him and tears fell on her face. "Alamm mmo bangg hannda naa dapaat akongg balikann att patawaarinn siyaa. Peroo anoongg nangyarii? Hindi niyaa akoo hinintayy att nagg pakasall siyaa..."

Ton wanted to tell her everything but remembered his promised to Alice.

"Kayaa umaliss akoo ulitt. Bumalikk akoo sa Franceee att doonn koo nakilalaa si Rowelll. Siyaa laang angg nasaa tabii koo nungg mgaa panahongg sobrangg nasasaktann akoo. Siyaa yungg nagg asikasoo sakinn, aatt tinulungann ako. At dahill dunn alamm koo ssa pusoo koo mahall koo siyaa."

Ton was listening to her carefully.

"Pero yangg si Aliciaa tsakaa yangg si Richarddd nagg planoo, paraa umuwii akoo ditoo ulitt. Hanggangg sa sumunodd dinn ditto sii Rowell. Dapatt hindii na kamii nagg stayy ditto ngg matagaal ehh. Dapaatt bumaliikk naa kamii saa Francee. Pero dahill saa lintekk naa trabahoo na yann ni Rowell nanditoo padinn kamii. Kayaa ayann, saa kakapilitt koo sa sarilii koongg hinddi koo naa mahall sii Richardd mass laloo ko langg naramdamann ulitt." She said as she break out. "Angg sakitt sakitt langg ehh. Laloo na kapagg nakikiitaa koo siyangg masayaa naa saa ibaa."

"Dawn mahal mo pa din si Richard? Bakit hindi mo sabihin sa kanya?"

"Paraa ssaan ppa Tonn? Walaa namman akongg balakk magingg kabitt. Tsakaa sinaabii koo na sayoo mahaal koo sii Rowell."

"At mahal mo din si Richard diba."

"Hinddi koo naa alamm. Nalilitoo nna akoo." Dawn said and finally fell asleep. Good thing Ton was holding her.

He carried her outside and laid her on the backseat of his car, then he called Vice.

"Vice, nasa bahay niyo ka ba?" He asked while driving.

"Ton? Oo bakit?"

"Kasama ko si Dawn."

"Ha? Anong oras na ba, bakit kasama mo siya? Asan kayo?"

"Ihahatid ko siya jan pauwi. Lasing siya eh."

"Ano ba yan si twinnie, lasing na naman. O sige sige. Bilisan mong ihatid siya dito, hihintayin ko kayo."

"Anjan ba yung boyfriend niya?"

"Si Rowell? Wala pa din. Akala ko nga mag kasama sila eh."

"Sige, hintayin mo na lang kami. Mabilis lang ang byahe wala naman ng sasakyan masyado sa kalsada ng ganitong oras."
