You're Still Mine

Chapter 25

It was already eight in the evening and the rain started to heavily fall. Richard was sitting on a couch beside Dawn, watching t.v when his phone buzzes. He looked at it and saw a text message.

From: Viceral

Rich, hindi ako makakauwi ngayon. Baka pwedeng samahan mo muna si Dawn jan habang hindi pa nawawala yung lagnat niya. Thank you!

Richard replied with a simple "okay" then looked back at the tv. He felt that Dawn was moving a bit so he checked her. He touched her forehead and she was still hot. Then he remembered that he always had "cool fever patch" on his car, so he went outside to get it. He then put a patch on her forehead.

He looked at the time and saw that it's already dinner time. He went to the kitchen and looked for something to cook. While preparing the food he heard Dawn, so he approached her immediately.

"Dawn bakit?" He asked.

"Asan si Rachel?" She asked.

"Sinundo na nila Alice. Hindi ka na namin ginising kanina pag dating nila."

"Ah okay, eh ikaw bakit nandito ka pa?"

"Wala ka kasing kasama. Hindi uuwi si Vice ngayon nag text siya. At please huwag mo na akong pauwiin dahil hindi ako uuwi hangga't hindi pa nawawala yang lagnat mo."

"Salamat." She said giving him a smile. She tried to stand up so Richard assisted her.

"San ka pupunta? Bakit ka bumangon?"

"Ano pa edi mag hahanda ng kakainin natin."

"Hindi na, maupo ka na lang jan. Patapos na akong mag luto."

"Ano ba yan ikaw na nag asikaso sakin buong araw."

"Ayos lang naman. Hayaan mong pag silbihan kita ngayon. Sige na jan ka muna. Tapusin ko lang yung niluluto ko tapos kain na tayo."

Richard was helping Dawn to eat while they're having lots of "kwentuhan".

"Huwag mo na akong subuan, ako na lang kaya ko naman." She said.

"Sige na ako na, dati naman kapag may sakit ka ako din ng susubo sayo ng pagkain." He replied and looked at her while smiling. "Uy namiss niya yun." He teased her.

"Hay nako, kumain na lang tayo."

"HAHAHA joke lang eh. Sige na oh ubusin mo na ito."

"Ikaw din kumain ka, oh susubuan din kita."

"Ang sorop." He said smiling at her.

"Masasarapan ka talaga luto mo yan eh."

"Ay HAHAHA. Oh inom ka na ng gamot mo, ako na bahala dito sa pinag kainan natin."

"Okay po, salamat. Paabot na lang po ako ng tubig."

Richard handed her the water then fixed their plates after. They spend the couple of hours watching movies and having their "kwentuhan" again.

"Ito naman Rich, looked at this photo. 1st Birthday ito ni Rachel." She said while holding her phone.

"Ang cute din jaan ni Rachel ang taba niya nung baby siya."
