Maya looked at the house which was clearly torn apart.
She exhales as she walks in finding Carla busy with some homework.

"Hey," Maya said.
"Maya. Thanks for coming. Renée is not coming but welcome," Carla said and Maya placed a box on the table.
"Some of my old clothes I no longer wear. Thought it would be good to donate. You are struggling a lot more than me," Maya said.
"Thank you," Carla said going through the box.
"Some stuff are for Elli. She can maybe wear it," Maya said smiling.
"Thank you so much. One of these days it's going to get hard to take care of her and Reno. Thank you, Maya," Carla said as a boy of fifteen months came out of the hall with a girl of four.

"Guys, this is my friend, Maya. My suster, Elli, and brother, Renaldo," Carla said and Maya smiled.
"Hey, guys. I gotta get going. I'll see you around," Maya said as she left.
