Maya looked around in the house where she saw the two toddlers.
Smiling at both Elli and Renaldo she sees Carla giving her a mug.

"Unfortunately we don't have cake but happy birthday," Carla said and Maya smiled.
"How is your mom, Carla?" Maya asked.
"She's okay. Won't Riley be may if you are here and not with her?" Carla asked and Maya nodded.
"But I need some time away. So I thought of coming here since my boyfriend still has a class," Maya said as her phone rang.
"Speak of the devil. Hey, Baby," Maya said.
"Hey. Where are ya?" Josh asked.
"With Carla. Why?" Maya asked.
"You and Carla go to Cory's," Josh said.
"We'll have to drag her brother and sister along but okay. See you in a bit. He wants you and the kids to come with me to his brother's," Maya said.
"Okay. Reni take Maya's hand and go to the car. I'm just getting the bags," Carla said.

Maya unlocked the door heading to the Matthews as she was immediately shocked.

"Surprise!"
"What is this?" Maya asked.
"Your birthday party," Josh said and Maya smiled.
"And I decided to except Carla. But I'm not her friend," Riley said.
"Okay then. Thank you guys," Maya said.
