Maya looked at the screen as the two of them were finally taking it down a notch with all of the challenges along their path.
It was the 14 week appointment and now finally it did look like everything was coming along well.

"So are you two excited for the baby?" the doctor asked and Maya nod.
"We both are very excited," Josh said and instantly they heard the heartbeat of the baby.
"Looks like a healthy baby. Do you guys want to know the gender?" she asked and they nod.

Maya patiently waited for the doctor to give them a answer and exhaled as she knew it was definitely what she wanted.
What she had hoped for, for so long.
She knew she and Josh would be very happy with their baby no matter what but the confirmation just made it so official.
