Maya smiles at the sight of her best friend yet again dozing off but this time in her father's class.
Maya exhales as she puts up her hand for Cory to see.

"Yes, Miss Hart?" Cory said.
"Riley," Maya said as Cory shook his head.

He slammed his hands on Riley's desk causing her to wake up and look at him.

"For goodness sake. No wonder the teachers are mad. Stay up," Cory said.
"I'm tired," Riley said.
"Sleep at night. Fix this," Cory said and Maya exhaled.
"Have tried before," Maya said.

"For winter break in February we are all heading down to Sun Mount Lodge to have some fun and to celebrate my brother's twentieth birthday. Maya, you, Lucas, Zay, Smackle and Farkle are invited including my dear daughter. Make sure your parents give permission," Cory said as he went on with the lesson.
