~Atem's POV~
Just like Seto said, after breakfast we were off to the stables to get our horses. Joey wanted to come too but my cousin denied him of doing so because he didn't want him getting hurt.
"Don't worry Atem, we'll find him." Seto mounted his horse that was next to mine, I was already sat on the saddle, my mind in wondering thoughts.
"What if we're too late?" I've been thinking over and over in my head that I would never forgive myself if he died.
A smack over my head brought me out of my thoughts. I grabbed the back of my head and looked at Seto who was sporting one of his rare smiles.
"Don't think like that, we'll find him." He said.
"Seto?" I suddenly asked, my voice low.
"What is it Atem?" He peered at my face for any sign of emotions.
"I...I think I love him." My voice didn't grow in volume but I knew he heard me as he shook his head playfully.
"Don't tell me, tell him when we find him." Seto said, a smirk dancing on his lips. I smiled at him and nodded my head.
We pulled the horses out of the stables to go into the market, as I instructed, guards were all around searching for Yugi. It almost seemed to be more guards out than people. The guards were given permission to check households and most citizens understood why, some fought because of privacy but they assured if they were doing something it would be over looked for the time being.
The city had been informed that if they saw Yugi to immediately let a guard know so they could report back to me. People walking by bowed to me and Seto, as well as some guards. This has been going on for days and nothing.
"My pharaoh." I looked down at my side to see a guard. I halted my horse and motioned for him to speak.
"Someone reported seeing a strange man sneaking in the back of the market."
"What did the man look like?" I narrowed my eyes and looked around the market place, trying to find out if I could see wherever he was.
"They didn't get a good look at his face but he had white hair and a red cloak."
I looked at Seto and I knew he was thinking the exact same thing as me. That it was probably Bakura but why in Ra's name would he come back after turning his back to me.
"Round up the strongest guards to follow us, that's the man we're looking for."
My horse pulled up on its hind legs before dashing into the alley ways. Seto was hot on my trail as he followed behind me since the alley wasn't wide enough for us to ride side by side.
I could hear the distant sounds of the guards riding over with their horses. Since rarely anyone goes into the alley way, unless they are doing something criminal, it should be easy to find a certain rat.
"Find him and bring him to me! Don't let him leave this city." The booming sound of my voice caused even a few citizens to get worried, fearing they were in danger.
I saw movement from the corner of my eye of a figure turning the corner. I whipped the reins on my horse and he took off towards the figure. Turning the corner at high speeds almost caused me to fall off my horse.
No one was in the alley when I turned, but I saw the same flash of red rounding the corner on the opposite side. Growling under my breath and rode over quickly, dust being thrown up as my horse ran by.
Around that corner I saw a man with white long hair, found you. I rode past him to get in front of him, stopping the man in his tracks.
"You have some nerve coming here." I growled under my breath.
