Yes My King

Prologue

~Atem's POV~

We announced to the kingdom our newest baby boy and they were overjoyed at the fact that they got to meet out newest prince.

I again took time from my duties to spend time with my family as Seto took over for a bit.

"Hey little guy, daddy's here." I cooed down at my son, putting my finger just close enough for his to grab while his eyes were still closed, trying to sleep.

His eyes were perfect, a mix of mine and Yugi's with the top half being amethyst that faded into the bottom half which was ruby.

His hair looked like both of ours of course but had my yellow lightning bolts sticking out, much smaller of course but they were there.

"He's perfect isn't he?" Yugi asked as he walked out of the bathrooms, still having pregnancy bladder.

"Yes he is, our little boy." I lean down to place a kiss on his forehead, causing him to gurgle, making me fall deeper in love with my child.

"He's doing it!" Yugi exclaimed as our now two year started talking his first steps.

Mine and Yugi are both back on duty but one of us almost always has our little boy. If we can't then Isis has him.

I grabbed him under the arms and swung him in the air, causing him to giggle.

"That's my boy, good job Yami."

I held him in my arms and he placed a little fist against my chest.

"Da-ddy." He mumbled in his little baby talk, it was so cute to hear him talk because he doesn't do it often.

"Yes that's me, I'm your daddy. Do you know who mommy is?" I asked and he turned towards Yugi, reaching his arms out.

"Ma-ma." He made little grabby hands as Yugi took him from my arms.

We decided to call Yugi mama, because for one I think it's cute and two, it makes it easier than for him to call us both daddy.

"My little Yami." Yugi tickled his finger against Yami's stomach making him giggle.

I couldn't have been more happen in that moment, looking at my beautiful husband and my adorable child.

"Yami, I said no running in the halls!" I yelled as my 7 year old rushed down the hallway but stopped dead in his tracks when he heard my voice.

"I'm sorry dad, I was just in a hurry." He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.

"And what were you in a hurry for."

"Atem leave him alone." Yugi walked up beside me and smiled up at me.

He always is too easy on Yami and let's him get away with a lot of things if I'm not around to have a say in things. Yami is a little troublemaker already at such his young age.

"You can't keep babying him Aibou." I wrap my arm around his shoulder and kiss his temple.

Yugi chuckles and looks at Yami.

"You should listen to your father more often Yami, he's the one whose going to teach you everything you need to know about ruling one day."

"I know mama, I'm sorry."

"-and that ends the meeting." I say and lean back in my chair as I conclude the meeting with my guardians.

On my right is Yugi and my left is 15 year old Yami. Since he is getting older, he needs to start learning how to run the kingdom for when he takes over.

For the last year I've been taking him to my meetings and spending his day lessons to teach him. When I don't have time one of the other guardians will take him for a day and teach them what they know because if they are going to be serving under him, they need to know each other and how to communicate.

"Come on puppy, let's go."

Seto and Joey were one of the last ones to leave, like always. They had a daughter together about 14 years ago. After a year with a baby in the kingdom, Joey got baby fever and Seto agreed, after Seto proposed of course. They are now married with a beautiful girl named Hope, Yugi helped pick the name, who is one year younger than our Yami.

"Dad, mom, can I hang out with uncle Seto and uncle Joey today?" Yami asked me and Yugi.

I looked up at Seto and cocked an eyebrow, asking for his input. He cracks a smile and puts a hand in Yami's hair and ruffles is.

"Of course twerk, I'll be teaching you I hope you know."

Yami knows that but he loves spending time with his uncles, almost as much time as he loves spending with Yugi.

Ever since he was born, he has loved being around Yugi the most out of anyone, it's probably a mother thing.

"And now for our new king, Pharaoh Yami!"

The whole kingdom cheers as Isis announced Yami as our new crowned king at 19 years old. I walk up the balcony to stand at my son's side in front of the kingdom, Yugi taking the other side.

Me and Yugi glanced at each other behind Yami's back, with the love of my life so close to me and our son who has grown up to be a find gentlemen and I know an even better king, I couldn't be more happy with how my life turned out.

If you told me 20 years ago I would have a husband who I love dearly and a son who would grow to be Egypt's new ruler;

I probably wouldn't believe you.
