We're driving to my moms house and are getting ready to tell her that me and Josh are expecting very soon and that we're having a little girl
*Arrives at Riley's mom's house*
Riley: Hey mom how's it going
Amber(Riley's mom): Pretty good I was waiting for you guys to say you were on your way but you guys are here which is even better, also Hey Josh
Josh: Hey Amber are you feeling better I know you weren't feeling well last week
Amber: everything is better now thank you for asking
Riley: He mom can we please sit down we need to talk to you about something
Amber: Of course
We sit down and I start feeling nervous I know she knows were married but she doesn't know that I'm pregnant and I feel like we should've told her sooner
Riley: So as you know Josh and I are Richards and that we have been married for about almost a year and a half
Amber: yea of course I remember going to your wedding
Riley: Well we are expecting a baby Richards
Amber: Omg I'm so happy for you guys when are you due
RIley: In 2 months but I wanted you to know that we are having a little girl and me and Josh are still living with Payton at our old house I know but we're looking for a house that can fit 3 kids so I just wanted to let you know that we are house hunting but we are moving out and the baby will be living in the new house.
Amber I'm so proud of you guys honestly I knew you loved each other from the beginning and I'm happy that you guys get a little family and I'm glad you aren't with Chase anymore and their is no way that he and Charli are going to make it as a couple once the baby is born Chase is to all over the place
Josh: Thank you for being so supportive, I'm scared to tell my parents cause they don't even know that Riley and are married and they would probably just think I got her pregnant which is not the case because I love your daughter.
Riley: Josh it's going to be okay because I always wear my ring they will find out eventually and then we can tell them that we had a small wedding with friends and that no family was invited
Josh: We should definitely do that because my parents do love us together and no one has to know that we got married with your family their
Amber: I think you guys should go tell Josh's parents right now and I will see you guys at the baby shower which I'm definitely throwing a baby shower for you guys
Riley: Love you and thank you for being so supportive
Josh: Thank you for always understanding and I will see you at the shower
Amber: Of course I love both of you guys and I'm happy the way you guys turned out
*goes to Josh's house*
As I knock on the door I get nervous and I think about turning around
Riley: Should we even be going inside what if they hate me. I have their last name like I hope they like me
Josh: Riley I love you and I love our little girl you're not going anywhere even if they don't approve of us getting married.
I walk into Josh's parents house and his mom greets us as the door
(JM= Josh's mom and JD= Josh's dad)
JM: Omg Riley and Josh it's so good to see you
I saw Mrs.Richards looking at my stomach and I immediatly wanted to go home
Josh: Hey mom can we sit down at the table we have some news
JM: If it's that you unaccidentalty got Riley pregnant I already see that so let's go sit down and discuss how we are going to take care of this situation
JD: Oh hey Riley and Josh
Josh: Hey dad
Riley: Hey Mr.Richards
Josh and I sat at the table across Josh's parents and I didn't know what to do with myself I felt so uncomfortable and at that moment in time wished I would've invited them to our wedding. Before Mrs.Richards could jusdge us I put my hand over Josh's to show off my wedding ring.
JM: So I see you guys have made a mistake, now what is being done about this. Normally I would say you have to get married but whatever you guys do is up to you
Josh: Actually mom Riley is my wife and has been for about three years. RIley and weren't trying for a baby because we were just waiting to see if we would get blessed with one and did. We just tolf Riley's mom today and she is throwing a baby shower for us you are welcome to help out as well if you would like but in no way feel like you need to. If you are going to ask the gender and how far along she is Riley is 8 months along and we are lucky to be able to welcome a beautiful girl into our lives
Riley: I hope you guys aren't disappointed
JM and JD: We're actually not mad or disappointed. We're actually super proud of you guys
