I said as I opened my eyes and saw the time on the wall and it was 7:15

" did Eddie ask about dinner "

I said and yawned a little then got up and followed him to his Jeep with my stuff. We put it in the back and he drove to Eddies' house. I know you shouldn't get in cars with strangers but he's a firefighter and I feel like I can trust him. After a while he parked and we got out and walked to the door and he just walked right in
" guys were here "
I followed him to the kitchen and there was a woman sitting there
" This is my sister Maddie "
She got up and shook my hand
" Ruby "
" well you guys hungry Eddie almost burnt the house down when I got here "
We all laughed a little then sat down at the table after a while Maddie said
" So where are you from Ruby "
" oh I've been traveling for the past year but my mom lives in Ohio "
" what brings you here then "
" well Bucks reckless driving "
They all laughed
" but umm I originally came here to stay with my cousin Abby which it seems everyone knows but that didn't go as planned so now I don't know I might have to go back home and start living in the real world "
" if you don't mind me asking how old are you "
" no not at all I'm 26 I know I look a lot younger "
I was sitting next to Buck and I could tell he wasn't happy she asked that
" well it's getting late and you have school tomorrow "
Eddie said as he got up helping Christopher get up and they left the room
" well I better get going to good night and it was nice meeting you Ruby "

She smiled and left. I got up and started to clear the table
" you don't have to do that "
Buck said as he picked up some glasses
" it's the least I can do you all are so nice "

Eddie said with a smile as he walked into the kitchen
" well I better find a place to stay "
" you can stay with me "
Buck said before I could really finish
" wow is that how you get girls to go home with you "
We laughed a little
" no, but uh I'm serious I have a couch so "
I looked at him and sighed
" fine my stuff is already in your car so "
" ok well you ready to go "
" yeah thank you so much, Eddie "
" no problem I hope to see you again soon "
We walked out and got in and finally, the jet lag kicked in and I fell asleep.
